Considering how the most useful Fairy type will probably be Togekiss (unless unless they use the smaller DP dex, which is unlikely since we saw a girl with Porygon Z in the trailer), I think Stone Edge would be better. The other Fairies avaliable are Mr. Mime, Clefable, Sylveon and Azumaril, and if they use the extended Platinum dex, Gardevoir. Quite a big roster, actually, huh. Maybe Iron Head _is_ the move to go.

Beat Cynthia on my DS. Took a lot of stalling with Toxic on the Togekiss tho(wasn't bothered to grind, almost paid the price with level 50-54s).

I finally defeated her. She took me 3 tries to win bc my Garchimp is underleveled and my Infernape has 40.6% chance that it could defeat Garchomp.
Everyone's talking about Cynthia getting easier in the DP Remakes because of Fairy Types,but let's not forget that Togekiss will become a Fairy Type too,and her Garchomp can also learn Poison Jab and Iron Head. Roserade's Poison and Lucario's Steel Typing will also be a counter for fairies. I hope they don't buff the EXP Share like in X/Y.
I want the EXP Share system to be the same of X/Y but nerfed so that people still taste what we experienced back then

Everything aside, just keep the difficulty same as before or increase it, there's no fun in a game with no challenge y' know, when you train/grind hard just because of an in-game obstacle, it just increases the worth of finally coming over it.

Just... 8 years ago, I was listening to an unofficial Trainer battle theme for Pokémon X and Y, which had french music instruments on it. It was glorious, and fit the Pokémon's battle theme style of "Fast, happy part, dramatic part". Now, Deja Vu, it's the same with a new game, but now with Champion Cynthia theme... hmmmmm....
That one theme that every trainer INSTANTLY gets ptsd from fighting her.
This remix is the epitome of how the great majority of us felt facing Cynthia as a kid...if only this could be the theme used in the actual remakes! I would buy them in an instant if that were the case!

Fairy is only good against her Garchomp (who can learn poison jab) and Spiritomb. Meanwhile she has a Lucario and Roselia that can curb stomp any fairy type you throw at her. If she gets switching AI, god help us

new garchomp moveset: dragon rush, earthquake, brick break, poison jab. (one of the berries that heals 33% at 25% hp. like Aguav)

Players can either utilize lucario's balanced attack and sp.atk stat by learning both swords dance/bulk up for physical moveset build and calm mind for special moveset so yeah

@@championcynthia5795 Tbh, special Garchomp isn't that good since it's base stat for it is 80 when its attack is 130, Weavile can be a lot faster and hit pretty hard with Ice Punch since Garchomp is 4x weak to Ice.
Luxray with Ice Fang is also a good choice, but watch out for Earthquake.
@@yashk3904 Garchomp is a lot faster though, that's the reason why I said Weavile, Weavile can outspeed Garchomp and hit first with Ice Punch.
Fun fact, Garchomp was actually the easiest Pokemon i faced in Diamond and Pearl, since i just set up Torterra on Spiritomb. The hard part was the Spiritomb. Because once i was done with Spiritomb, i all i had to do was one-shot all of her Pokemon, which wasn't hard since i was +6 Attack and Defense, and Torterra mostly was ready for her entire team (barring Roserade)
It was a completely different story in Platinum. Sure, the different team i used was a factor, but so was other Pokemon of Cynthia. Spiritomb was like always a nuisance, and while yes, Lucario, Roserade and Milotic weren't as bad, the struggles began with Togekiss. The thing forced me into a complete stall war from the get-go (I had to PP Stall it out of Water Pulse and Shock Wave), and then i had to use a Quagsire and a remaining weakened team to finish Garchomp.
Basically, Cynthia's Togekiss is nightmare fuel, i don't like fighting that thing, and i'm afraid i have to do it again. Let's not hope it has Serene Grace, or else it'll be 10 times worse.
I got lucky with togekiss and got a critical hit spark with a paralyze. It lived on one health but it was better than nothing
