@@kr-geats1043 Imo a lot of the issues with this style could have been avoided if they cel shaded it. It's lend itself better to the cartoony style of the originals and would have added the depth that the games are currently missing.

I've always loved the Sinnoh Trainer battle theme, it's catchy and a little dramatic in some parts, which keeps you focused on the fight. This prediction totally rocks, I do hope that a similar version makes it into the game! Great job!!

Even let’s go was kind of chibi style. The only one that wasn’t chibi was sword and shield. It’s just chibi with better graphics. I’m excited about the remakes though.

What about Sun and Moon, or Ultra Sun and Moon? Those games weren't chibi. Also, it's only in the overworld where the chibi style has ever applied.
This keeps so many of the RIGHT elements from the original. The official BDSP version leaves much to be desired
