The ninjas in the Hayamoto missions find 47 suspicious even though they can't see 47's face as he's wearing a full body outfit that covers his and their face so how the hell can they suspect an intruder in their midst if they can't see each other's face! Yet people say the old ones are the best! This is pathetic!
To be fair games with big maps and tons of complex A.I usually suffer somewhere, not to mention there are certain areas characters NEVER visit and sometimes will when there is a dead body, even if perfectly out of sight
I died laughing when saw him murking everyone. This game can be frustrating sometimes. But that's what makes it hitman. Still poor choice of footage showcasing the "Silent Assassin"
The plot is great but the gameplay experience especially the stealth speed is shit! Why do I have to go back to Gontranno unarmed against an entire mob armed to the teeth if I'm not willing to negotiate with Zavorotko and his men open fire at me immediately though I'm unarmed and I can't use melee attacks unless I have a melee weapon although I'm supposed to be playing as the most danger assassin to ever exist, the infamous Agent 47 but I can't punch someone and I work for an agency that's not smart enough to provide me with a suitcase to hold my sniper rifle instead of walking amongst civilians with a sniper rifle in my hand and hoping I don't get made! That's not it, I also have to kill a non-target in St Petersburg Revisited (Agent 17) in order to cancel the objective "Kill Zavorotko" and that everyone is OK with a bald guy wearing sunglasses in a snowy region and wearing a black suit with a white shirt and orange tie running around St Petersburg Square with a W2000 sniper rifle in his hands but it's not OK for the same guy wearing a black suit, white shirt and a red tie but no sunglasses to run around St Petersburg Square with a W2000 sniper rifle! And then there's the shooting system, I use a silenced pistol to aim at the head of my target but then I pull the trigger and realize that I should've tilted the gun slightly to the left in order to get a headshot that doesn't kill the target instantly because the logic and aiming system in this game sucks and was not improved until Blood Money was released yet people still bitch about the old ones being better than Absolution and the new one! It wasn't until Absolution and the new one were released that Hitman was finally improved and became a game worth playing in terms of logic and gameplay and that's a fact because the crawling and sneaking speed were slower than real!
As someone who played hitman 2 WHEN IT CAME OUT (shit i was young...) i have to say that the mechanics were uncomfortable but not much more uncomfortable than unreal tournament (the first one) HOWEVER the story-telling was awesome. I came to notice two contradictory school of thoughts on Hitman games. -Some people say that Hitman is a story-first franchise that features a system of multi-pathing to your assassination (C47, H2, H:A) -Some people say that Hitman is a stealth game first franchise that features an awesome back story. (H:C,H:BM,H1,H2) The problem is that we are both right : Historically it was a story first game, then it actually became successful/mainstream only when it became a stealth game with a back-story. The story became secondary in H:BM and people loved that game so they kept it like that after retrying the switch back to story-driven in Absolution and failing.
The Agency does not supply 47 with weapons, ever. All weapons are his own, that's why they don't give him any when he returns to Gontranno. It's okay for a clone with an orange tie and glasses to walk around with a sniper, but not for a clone with a red tie and no glasses, because the guards in that mission are the clone's henchmen and they notice when their boss' clothing strangely changes during a stakeout to kill their boss' double. The non-target you kill is also not just some civilian, but a sniper that is threatening your life. Why do you go back to Gontranno unarmed? Because all of your weapons are in the shed and have you ever tried smuggling weapons from Russia to Sicily yourself? Because that shit ain't easy, bro. The stealth speed is not slower than real. 47 sneaks in this game like a normal person trying to not get detected would. It doesn't make the gameplay fun, and you really won't enjoy playing it if you don't have patience, but it certainly isn't unrealistic.
@@AnimatedStoriesWorldwide Now the part regarding plot is entirely false. The story is the backbone for the entire duration of the series. People didn't hate Absolution because it had more focus on it. People hated Absolution because it's primarily a linear hallway instead of an open environment that the past games would insert you in. Although now that you mention it, the plot in that game was pretty awful.
I didn't know someone recorded me playing this and put it for the trailer
Just like every other hitman trailer, they advertise a 'violent shooter' and very little stealth, which the game is primarily about.
This would lead one to think "Hitman 2: Loudest Assasin ever" lol.
funny how they slapped “Silent Assassin” on the title but the trailers always show Agent 47 acting like a mad man 😂😂
That is its name
Thanks for sharing, I have watched the trailers for all the other series and 21 years after SA came out, I realise I have missed that one. 🙂
The silent assassin's footage of gameplay

Why were they going with the non-silent way?
why
would
they
smart marketing, not many would want to play if they saw actual gameplay footage of how it's supposed to be played
Well that wasn't silent at all. The actual game however doesn't fuck around.
agreed i played it for the first time got my ass kicked
Can't remember the last time I got a "Mass Murderer" rank...
Terry I remember, it was 6 months ago and the mission's name was Redemption at Gontranno
