Bayside - Masterpiece (Drum Cover)

This is more of an experiment to try a new format of my videos. I am now donning my stage attire, and am using editing software to remove the existing drum track from the song I'm playing over. That way you as the view will get a more balanced sound between my take on the drum part, and the rest of the band. This may become the new format but I'm not 100% set in on it yet. Let me know what you think in the comment section, and be sure to look out for more drum covers and original content in the future!

All audio was recorded through a Zoom LiveTrak L-12 Digital Mixer/Recorder. Post processing done in Studio One 5 Professional. iZotope RX8 was used to separate the drum track from song.

You nailed it perfectly!! I was friends with their drummer, John "Beatz" Holihan (RIP)- we used to jam together a lot back in the day. You can seriously play that kit - and your chops are through the roof man - excellent drumming!!

Thanks Rich! Unfortunately never got the opportunity to see them live :( Almost did way back in 08' when a local venue nearly booked them and Hawthorne Heights for a tour. Fell through though. Still got to see Hawthorne Heights at the same venue twice some years later. Still have those tickets too haha.
