Mercedes W123 1984 Automatic rare find & restoration video by Din Idriss (April 5th 2021)

I started collecting May of 2021 and my first was a W126 offered under 3k and I thought that was a bargain then as a novice collector. Then I realized I paid over 4k afterwards for restoration. My target was always a W123 but it is hard to find. A couple of them are seen on sale between $6k to $9k. I wasn’t prepared to fork out that kinda of dosh at one single outing. The cheapest came around 3k but they fly off the counter really fast. So I ended up getting a W201 190 Carburetor version in good condition after that and also a Vito W638 van. I finally ended up with a garage full of Mercedes classic cars and put a pause on the collecting habit when I found a really nice W123 from 1984 with a rare automatic transmission.
