The Chicago Bulls documentary The Last Dance on Netflix took the world by storm. Back in the 90s I used to get up in the middle of the night to watch Michael Jordan and the Bulls on TV, so The Last Dance had a very nostalgic effect on me. Especially at the end of EP1, when SIRIUS started playing for the Chicago Bulls intro / starting lineup celebration, all the memories came flooding back! I immediately stopped watching and rushed into my studio to record my own version of the iconic theme song!
SIRIUS was originally released as the instrumental intro song on the album Eye in the Sky by The Alan Parsons Project. It was adopted by the Chicago Bulls as their theme song that played during the starting lineup player introductions and became a worldwide phenomenon, frequently being played at all kinds of sports events.
The original SIRIUS is quite short, so it is often edited to create extended versions, like it was done for The Last Dance soundtrack. Since I re-recorded all parts for this guitar cover, I made my own extended version by arranging it with a slower buildup to the guitar solo. I also extended the solo by composing a new second half based on the original.
Do you like the Sonic movies? Paramount+ just launched the Knuckles spinoff mini series and I'm thrilled to say that they used my version of SIRIUS for Wade's bowling tournament finale! How cool is that?!
This cover of SIRIUS is available on all major platforms, so go find it on your streaming service of choice or give that extra bit of support for my work by downloading the song!

Awesome, thanks! I‘m glad you like the non-Doctor Who content, too!
Pandorraaaa
It should be available on Pandora, too. Did you not find it there?

This intro gave the Bulls a huge home court advantage. Such an iconic tune
Indeed!!
Funny how since Michael Jordan retired the home court advantage disappeared. Maybe it wasn't the song but actually the greatest competitor ever, Michael Jordan? Just an idea.
@@daveberuh5570 I mean yeah that’s a given , that’s not the point tho
And Now!!!!!
So so awesome, remember rewatching a taped game and looking forward to hearing this ! Untouchables
AND NOW... Your starting lineup for your Chicago Bulls... the nostalgia man. Love this.
Strong nostalgia with this one!
Man I'm chicago born and raised and this song always sent chills through my body and then when the announcer said AAAAAAAND NOW FOR THE STARTING LINE UP FOR YOUR CHICAGO BULLS!!!!!! this song is my ringtone too
AND here come Starks dunking it over Jordan and Horace Grant! What a rivarly, sadly not anymore. Knicks strong as hell these days while the Bulls strugglin´.
World Champion Chicago Bulls*
@@bigredd690AMEN!
I've never been able to hear this song without thinking of Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen & the Chicago Bulls.
For all of us who grew up in the 90s... this is it. Nothing better than this intro
Truth!
This is what younger generation do not understand well. Greatness is no just about numbers, everything that surrounded Jordan was just outstanding.
Truth!
Yeah ! 💪💪💪💪💪💪💪
💪💪 Exactly 🔥🔥💪💪
Well said!! 23 is the 🐐
Very true
Its a era that we will never see ever like that again
💯 Percent True Facts
Agree
Amen to that brother
those Chicago Bulls teams were the best ever
Yes!!!!!! Michael jordan is the goat
If you heard this song, you knew it was going to be a long night if you were playing against the Bulls
From someone that was born and raised in Chicago, as well as personally witnessed the Bulls dynasty - this is absolute perfection. Keep up the amazing work bro!
Thank you very much! Cheers, Amey! 🎸🎶
addison and ashland buddy
The best of times.
To witness Michael in all of his glory
the team of Bulls of 90's years is the best crew ever
Bulls dominated the 90s
As a Utah Jazz fan growing up man you hear this song still gives me chills and you know the road team is already down 15 points even before the game starts.
The Jazz also used this song in their intro
Used to wake up at 3-4 am in Turkiye to watch MICHAEL those days and moved to America when Jordan retired
I did the same in Germany! 🔥
Greatest intro of all time!!!
Greatest team of al time!!!
Greatest athlete of all time!!
Aaaand now! The starting lineup. Of the world champions. Chicago Bulls!
Great song indeed!
Back in a MJ days...if you heard this song in the playoffs on the road, your season was about to end
True!!
And the team huddle in the tunnel.... What time is it??... Game time Wooo !!!
Lol 100% true!!
You not lying. Your season is done ✔️
@@emanuelpought8651 the only person who could stop them was Michelle Jordan. MJ was so scared of this person, he would decide not to even get drafted.
And NOW for YOUR Chicago Bulls! at guard from North Carolina, 6'6, 218 pounds from Brooklyn, NY, Number 23....Michael Jordan!
Best pre-game show! 😎
Getting goosebumps by just reading it :D
Getting goosebumps by just thinking about it! 😉
He ain't from Brooklyn 🤣.
@@shitpants9602 he was born in Brooklyn. Though the game announcer usually said North Carolina as that's where he grew up and went to University.
I use to get goosebumps as a child hearing this intro to those incredible bulls teams.
Me too!
Indeed! I still get goosebumps whenever I hear this song.
"And now, the starting line up for you CHICAGO BULLS" Shit, this bring back memories... Thx for this, mate.
You’re welcome! The memories! That‘s exactly why I made this.
Who listening to this 2024?
here.

“And from North Carolina…😎”
Song still chills me down to my bones 📢🐂🏀
Hell ya, as a 90s kid and UNC alumni, I have a special place in my ❤ for MJ. Athletes in the 80-90s are like 90s supermodels, it was an awesome time to be a kid
6"6 NUMBER 23, MICHEALLLLL JOOOOOOOOOOORDAAAAAAAAN!!!!!!
Yeah, also here in Germany... goosebumps...❤
Still to this day . THE BEST intro theme
Im 43, 33yrs of being a Bulls fan. This song was life when we had a home game. I swear when we heard this as kids we got emotional
Do dziś ten otwór ustawiony na dzwoku telefonu.. To były piękne czasy, to były piekna era Byków
This tune defined an era and sums up the peak of western civilization. 🐐
This takes me back to June and July in the 90’s. Chicago Bulls playoff basketball NBC. Chills me every time.
*FROM NORTH CAROLINA!!!!!!*
Oh, the immortal words that stapled a legacy….
I know they announced MJs name, but you never heard it. As soon as the announcer said North Carolina everyone was cheering soo loud. Goosebumps just thinking about it again.
THE GOAT!
I never understood until I got older how a song or sound can take you back to a specific time. This song takes me back to NBA on NBC. Those Bull teams were iconic like their intro. Good times!!
This and the NBA on NBC live rent free in my head.
This shit gave me goosebumps whenever it hit back in the day. I didn’t realize how epic the 80’s and 90’s were until they came to an end and not a damn thing has stood the test of time since then.
I noticed that the ‘80s and ‘90s were the golden eras of many different things. Cars, Video Games, Sports, Music and some other stuff. The 2000s had some golden moments as well, but those 2 decades before, many would say, has been unsurpassed.
I live in Brazil and watching the Bulls' entire journey in the 90s live... I hear that sound and it feels like I'm living those moments now. It's history!
That makes the Chicago Bulls more Badass and Hyped🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀
Sirius can make anything badass! ☺️
I can hear Ray Clay's voice "AND NOW... THE STARTING LINEUP FOR YOUR WORLD CHAMPIONS CHICAGO BULLS!!!"
He's demonstrating to us a method of music that was taught to him. A method of music our Tasteless generation desperately needs to hear.
As a Chicagoan born and raised love this! I was a little kid but I do remember when Michael Jordan played ❤❤❤
Dang!!! Tears in my eyes!!! We just witnessed greatness when youngers!!! 😢
What a times!!! What a childhood!!!
Scottie Pippen
Dennis Rodman
Luc Longley
Ron Harper
Michael Jordan
If exists is a perfect team, it wasn't this team. This team was above perfection
The greatest of all time! 🐐 Goosebumps!! The most competitive era!!
The best!
a song you will hear, when Jordan and the Bulls have had enough. Its winning time, a total obliteration. Jordan is the GOAT.
This tune stopped the playoffs for every team in the 90‘s 💯 #gametime
Game 5 of the 1998 NBA Finals at United Center will be the last time we will ever hear that iconic lineup:
"And now, the starting lineup for your 5-time world champion Chicago Bulls!"
"At forward, from Central Arkansas, 6-7 Scottie Pippen!"
"A 6-11 forward, from Split, Croatia, Toni Kukoc!"
"The man in the middle, from New Mexico, 7-2 Luc Longley!"
"A 6-6 guard, from Miami Ohio, Ron Harper!"
"From North Carolina, at guard, 6-6 Michael Jordan!"
"The head coach of the Bulls is Phil Jackson!
At my wedding I had the DJ announce my groomsmen to this song, with their height and where from.
Great idea! 👏
NICE!!
if Chicago is back to the finals....this song will be epic hear again🔥🔥🔥😎
Not if. When! 😎🎸🔥
Only if They Bring Derrick Rose back
I feel like a kid again after hearing it
That‘s how I felt while making it 😉
Me too
#metoo
This is one of the best album intros of all time, and I love how it fades into Eye in the Sky when you listen in order
Yes, the perfect intro!
They used to say that with the original intro, you were 10-0 down before the start of the game... with this, you're basically walking off the court before it's begun.
Haha they should play this then!! 😂
It's not about the stats, it's about the impact... The GOAT
Say it again for the students in the back
this intro destroyed the heart of an opposing team before the game actually begins.
And hyped up everybody else. 🔥
Iconic themsong .. This is gold
The CHicago Bulls Dynasty in history
LeKaren James was never feared the way Jordan was and never brought the same excitement to the game. As a Knicks fan in the 90's, hearing this song scared the hell out of me because I knew what was coming next... Jordan dominance.
This is the OST of the best NBA era ever, this is not only the Bulls intro! Amazing!
As the saying goes, if you went to Chicago in the postseason and heard this, your season was about to end.
This brings back the glory of the 90's Chicago Bulls and undefeated NBA Championship dynasty
And for me, as a Nebraska Cornhusker fan, it was played during the tunnel walk as the football team took the field. There's nothing like hearing it live, with 85,000 fans going nuts. We started using it in 94, the year we started our domination of the mid to late 90's.
Perfect music for motivation
Man! I remember watching the NBA during the Bulls Dynasty. And every time this theme would begin to play, you look over at the other team's bench and you could literally see them contemplating whether they even wanted to play that night or not. Just the impact that Jordan, the Bulls, and this theme song had on the entire league
this is so cool with the playing of the guitar and the players introduce
Thanks Steve!
I so agree!!!
I got to play it again!! Even tho I was young back then. I played basketball when I had working legs. Lol. I can still name all those boys! And their positions on the court!! It’s called we are die hard fans!! ❤
Thank you!! 🇺🇸🏀
hearing this i remember 72 wins 10 loses bulls
웅장이 가슴해진다..90년대의 기운이 느껴진다.
The anthem of greatness.
Micheal Jordan era was something I wished I was around. Sadly I was born in 98 during his last dance season.. I woulda loved to seen micheal Jordan and what that era truly was back then! Watching his highlights tells me how much of a freak he was on the court in a way of greatness being there. Highly electrifying
I was 13000 miles away from Chicago and I can tell you, It felt magical. We didn't know Jordan would win but everyone rooted for the Bulls. Even Utah gave him standing ovations in playoff games. It was an aura that exuded from the 20-inch CRT screens that I had never seen since in Basketball. The only place you can find it today is probably in Soccar from Lionel Messi.
This intro should start in every playoff games nowadays, like the UEFA Champions League intro. It will definitely give the goosebumps to the players hearing that song⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
It should!
I’ll never forget this song from early childhood
That shyt gave me chills 🥶
Mission accomplished! 🫡
The Last Dance.... Must watch... Came here after hearing this super track ... Nostalgic...Watched those dream matches on ESPN in India.. MJ, Reggie, Malone....Superb... Miss that opening music of espn b4 start of match...
Agreed, The Last Dance is incredible. I recorded this cover right after watching episode 1 and hearing the track at the end!
This is going to be my new ringtone 🥰
That's a pretty epic choice for a ringtone! ;-)
I'm in Phoenix az and im a life long Chicago bulls fan
I remember this when the bulls wer in the finals.. gave me the chills!!
This was the one most part about the Chicago Bulls that I loved when this song was played. I grew up in the Jordan era and got to hear this song all the time. Classic and awesome. But I also love the city of Chicago! 🎸
That song got us all so hyped before the game!
La mejor intro para el mejor equipo CHICAGO BULLS🙌🙌
Así es el mejor intro de la historia
The best team Forever ❤🖤
The Good old days Me And my younger brother loved it every minute of it...
Me too, Frank. Me too!
Best Entrance Theme ever
What an amazing time to be alive
If you ever heard this music in the NBA back in the day you had hell on your hands against the Bulls
Literally impossible to hear this song and not immediately hear "FROM NORTH...CAROLINA..." in my head. Awesome cover!
Thanks! Cheers!
Always gave the goosebumps when I saw the intro to every Bulls game. Michael Jordan was the best one to call out
Those were the days!
The introduction in the background while you performing was awesome.
Thanks! Glad you liked that!
Iconic!
If you heard this song as an opposing team on the road…your season was over…
This takes me back to my childhood. Watching Jordan smash everyone and then shooting hoops in the backyard with my neighbour. Aaaah those were the days.
Great times, indeed!
This was the most iconic intro for the finals in the NBA.. and am very happy i was there
And now, the starting lineup for your Tune Squad!
That's a riff for the ages. Goddamn meaty, rich, creamy guitar sauce. 🥣
A fantastic riff, indeed! The original Alan Parsons version is played on keyboard, but it works great on guitar, too!
@@BornaMatosic I play keyboard myself, but not as well as you play that axe ^_^
Thanks, Iain! Cheers! ☺️
Will always give me goosebumps! Best intro for the best team!! If you hear this playing you know the game will be brutal, highlights after highlights, game winning shots you could cry! 😊
Everyone who’s old enough associates this with the Jordan era bulls, but this will always remind me of the Derrick Rose/Bench mob era. That’s when I fell in love with the bulls
I don’t know why, this song made me want to cry so many good and bad memories
💙
O maior tema de abertura da história da NBA. Música que marcou um legado de uma geração vencedora e que deixou saudades. 🤗
This theme and Jordan go hand and hand both intimidating!!
Now its even in the Knuckles Show on Paramount 👍👍
It is indeed!! The series has a good selection of music. 👍
His royal airness
The game was pretty much over after this intro. It was so intimidating. I can’t imagine being an opposing player and hearing this w Jordan pippen, etc and the crowd erupting. Taking souls.
this song meant one thing: defeat, it terrified the other teams just by listening to it...
Yeah, back in the Jordan era of the Bulls, you heard this song and immediately your mind goes “guys I think we’re screwed”
@@LouisWarren530 exaclty
This and the NBA on NBC! 🎉❤
This, this is the true definition of hype song for teams intro
It was extra special to be a Chicagoan and experience this team, as our city had been starved for championships other than the '85 Bears.
The best cover I've never heard ! C'est juste un moment magnifique de grande musique repris avec goût, passion, frisson !
Merci beaucoup! ☺️
Jordan had his own music, that's why he's the GOAT!
WHY IS THIS SONG SO GODDAMN EPIC, WHAT MAKES IT THAT WAY, AND WHY THEY MANAGED TO DO IT SO GOOD AND CLEAN
This is amazing! Bulls forever! 💕
Thanks! Bulls rock! 🤘
Dude, I was born and raised in Chicago.....Michael Jordan is in my blood. I cant stop listening to this version.
I LOVE ppl like you
Thanks a lot, Jon! I live in Germany and back in the 90s I used to get up in the middle of the night to watch the Playoffs. What a dream team that was! This cover is my tribute to that era!
I was born at the right time(1983)...I was around 7 when I got into sports. The few notable games I attended
1994 Bulls vs Knicks huge fight broke out in front of David Stern
March 1995 vs Orlando(MJ 1st home game back from retirement)
1996 @ Milwaukee(70th win)
My birthday 1996 vs Lakers(1st Kobe vs Michael) Bulls down 15 with under 5 to play in the 4th. Kukoc all of a sudden he becomes possessed and starts draining one 3 after another. Bulls tie, go to ot. Bulls eventually pull ahead and won but not b4 Rodman and Shaq almost got into a brawl. Just as Rodman was about the throw the punch....Michael and Scottie tackle Rodman to the ground. They all start cracking up.
Lastly Bulls @Miami Michael scores 50. Bulls down 10+ with a min or so left in the 1st half. At of half Bulls up by a few. With most of that action happening with under 20sec left
Can you make an audio version of this so i can use for a ringtone?
A couple years ago at a charity Thanksgiving event...i met Jon Paxson, Horrace Grant, Bill Cartwright, Bill Wennington, Tony Kukoc and a couple current day players who i had no idea about lol..
I got a pic with Bill Wennington but the person who took the pic did a royal mess up but you can still see that i only go up to his stomach chest area
Lastly, next time you speak to Angela Merkle please let her know i appoligize on America's behalf for allowing such a dumbass pshyco to run this country.
Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and Steve Kerr approve of this message...lol
“And nooooow the starting line up for your 6 time NBA World Champion Chicago Bulls!!
At one forward from Central Arkansas, Scottie Pippen!
At the other forward from Clemson, Horace Grant!
At center from San Francisco, Bill Cartwright!
At one guard from Notre Dame, John Paxson!
At the other guard, your captain from North Carolina, Michael Jordaaaaaan!”
The Bulls were must see TV. It was mote than watching it was an event. So, like all good shows, they needed their own theme. What a perfect theme it was
