I use a Zebra Z grip pen parts as my pen kit to make turned pens. All my equipment came from Penn Ind. Total cost to make a turned pen using this method is less than $3. Have you tried this method?

A question Walter. When you used your parting tool, to take the end off of the comfort rubber space. Surely it was glued? and so it would not just slide off. Thats what it seems you did. Would you not have to turn it off?

Might I suggest putting your tubes in the drill press or your hand drill and then sanding the tubes?

Hi Walter, can I ask where you got your file for the pen barrel trimmer. I can’t seem to find anything like it in the uk👍
