Idk if you’ll see this but i got into dominion a couple months ago and have since listened to your channel every single night since and I rly value the work that you did. Thank you for improving my game and feeding this fun hyperfocus. Like one of my favorite channels and criminally underviewed for the quality you put in.
I think the benefit of Mastermind in the first game would be that if you managed to start with, say, Kitsune in hand and a Riverboat in play, you could reduce your hand size without relying on your opponent and get a bit more out of the Souk play. If all of the Actions you have are draw, you just use the Souk first.
@@silastopoleI love playing IRL with 2-3 players, and choosing an extra 10 random cards is fairly easy tbh. We play with ~3 expansions at once, and we just shuffle the randomizers together
@@roin97 well doesnt it work like this: once the prophecy activates, you generate a new set, so you don't know what kind of cards are gonna exist/ wont exist anymore
@@silastopole I mean, imagine you only have 3 sets because you never bought more. In that case, there is no problem in setting it up IRL. So when you choose to only play with 3, it’s kinda the same, only it’s a choice. But I do get the point that some people choose via online randomizers (esp. if they play with all 16 expansions), in which case you would have to relaunch it once the prophecy activates. But that’s like a 3-5 min delay max, so it’s not so bad
I think in the second kingdom you way overinvested in Native Village. I think the way I would have played was just Kings Court/Baker, Magnates and one or two Sacred Groves for Buy. Rice is decent payload but it's no match for Kings' Court on the same price.

It's great to see you making new videos 😄
Divine Wind is insane lol

Mastermind Renown is pretty nice, although it takes some skill/luck to get it into your starting hand
Divine wind looks like so much fun! The amount of facepalms alone will be wonderful
only in paper its gonna be a hell of a pain to setup

IRL divine wind would be a lot of setup and cleanup.
