Well, they overlooked the fact that BOAC was a very different airline that British Airways… As such, no-one with the mind in the right place thinks BA is older than 100…
I'm sorry, but I'm sure that with modern technology, a type of Concorde could be produced that's economically and environmentally friendly! Surely, being able to fly higher and faster must have some positives?
As a yank, I only trust BA when I fly to the UK…. Great service, easy to get in and out of Heathrow (after Terminal 5 was built… hated those old buses shuttling you around). Sorry, but I’ll pay more for reliable service!
Dudes full of it saying they're eligible for astronaut wings. GO 5TIMES HIGHER THEN YOU ARE. Concorde avg altitude was 10-11miles, ~55k ft. Astro wings is 50 MILES, ~264,000ft
All aircraft are gone eventually, airframes dont last forever. Whats flying today wont be flying in 30 years. Unless its military where they have unlimited budget to maintain.
The Americans whining about the British Concorde landing at JFK airport. A big case of intense USA sour grapes because the American supersonic airliner had failed miserably and was never actually built, due to huge technical problems. That was the real reason many Americans objected to the Concorde landing in NY, not the Concorde sonic boom.
Concorde was not, and is not, financially feasible. The British and French learned this the hard way. The Americans knew this and went with the 747 instead. Which one is still flying?

You are wrong there. It's the disgusting American liberals who hate everything. Not us conservatives.
