Not in this economy. The rich have monopolized property markets and inflated property values beyond human life's adaptabilities. Adult children need every assistance they can be granted. Since no one can check the rich, don't throw your children to the hyenas

Pride male kicks all his sons out of the pride when they are old enough to hunt for themselves. Then he procreates with all females, including his daughters. Same thing next year, which includes granddaughters. This cycle is broken when a new younger male defeats the old king and brings in new genetics to keep the pride healthy.

That's usually something mostly bad parents in the BA community do to their sons. Then wonder why they start a life of crime to survive. The correct way is to prepare them for the world then you don't have to put them out. Why not do the same to the girls too they're no different? They should not get a pass.
Humans aren't animals. That young unprepared person too many failed to prepare for world are the same ones you'll be hoping take care of your broken down self when you're elderly. Never put them out when they're not prepared. It won't help them, that's outdated old school BS and doesn't work in today's world.
Young adults can be productive whether they're at home or not. That's really some single mom nonsense when she can't handle her sons anymore. People from other countries literally never want their kids to leave home to keep the family together. They teach them how to be productive.

Although young females are in the pride for Life young males are driven out somewhere between 18 and 24 months old. Before they start reaching sexual maturity or growing a mane. This prevents inbreeding they usually leave the pride for behind and if they are tough enough will set up a pride far away from their original home.

Lions often fight when they need to defend their territory, secure food, or protect their pride from intruders. When a lion or a group of lions (a pride) is ready to move to a new home, such as when they need to expand their territory or find better resources, they may encounter other lions or predators. In these situations, fighting can be necessary to establish dominance, defend their pride, or claim new territory.
This behavior ensures that the strongest lions maintain control over prime hunting grounds and safe areas for raising their cubs. It's all about survival and ensuring their pride has the best chance of thriving in a new environment.
