Just walked past you in Chamonix! We were inspired by your videos to visit the area and were only watching one this morning to see the trails you took! We are only one day in and can’t wait for the rest of our hiking adventures over the next two weeks. Thank you so much
This Trailrunning Community is so amazing! Seeing the Runners kissing the rock an seeing their emotions makes oneself emotional, too. Hope no one was watching me while watching the video in the train😂.
This was super interesting. So nice to see the "back stage" of Hardrock. I loved seeing Yannick Vézina, Marianne Hogan and of course, Audrée in the film. Always fun to watch your videos, Jeff! Thanks
Colorado state is a wonderful state to visit with spectacular scenery. Jeff brings it to another level and takes viewers to areas where most of us would not see otherwise. Thanks Jeff for another great video and story telling. Quality content always.
Beautiful as always. Besides the great country, you really got some great behind the scenes stuff in this one. Thanks for sharing it all with us. Really lookin forward to the movie of Audree's race.
What I love about your video is that spirit of sharing. It conveys that you don't just want to win. This is how I want to lash out too. Thank you from Japan
Great video! It was great to meet you at Hardrock. C'était vraiment une belle experience 🙂I hope I get to run it too next year. Good luck for the lottery.
Nice footage. Felt like a behind the scenes video for some of it. Jamil running Hardrock with little training sounds crazy. To have such a big base that you can do almost anything at low heart rate must feel amazing.
@@JeffPelletier Thank you very much for the prompt response! I am always down for a new spot to explore. I also see that Boulder Gulch (accessed by the tailing ponds before the Mayflower Mine) is a potential access too. Maybe I will go up one and come back down the other.
Hi Jeff , congratulations on the Swiss alps 160 , nice meeting and speaking to you 👍great guy I was a little arrogant and neglected my feet which took me out between aid stations around 112 k .luckily got a last minute in the utmr on sept 5 as I felt like a full fueled car with flat tires 😂. Good luck to Audrey and for your trip after , take care stay healthy
Great video Nice meeting you in Silverton - thx for the advice on rain gear Hope you get in next year- I'll be cheering for you when you pass through Ouray AS
Hi Jeff! I am Ilias Bakas from Greece, uncle and pacemaker of the last runner Kostas Panagiotis Alimonos! Incredible video from this year's race! I would like to see you sometime in an Ultra race in Greece! I'm sure you'll be surprised!
I just hiked up to island lake and grant swamp pass yesterday. I have no idea how the elite runners do that descent. After a few shuffle steps I slid 20 feet on my back
Another excellent video Jeff and Audree, enjoyed it a lot. I see you are also dog lovers, nice to see people like that. I was curious why the runners did not use hiking poles for the descent from Grant Swamp Pass. Here in Europe we use them also on the downhill, specially for something that steep. In this case I believe that runners would have more balance and not be falling down so much. But who am I, just a weekend warrior. Them pros know their game. 😁

Jeff: "I've got a full length feature coming"
Me: "HELL YEAH!!!"
I'm a big, strong man...and I tear up like a little child when those runners come in with only seconds to spare. Holy moly.
Sounds like you're not as big or strong as you think you are
The dog-to-running-ratio is very pleasant I must say

I can't help but cheer this community on.
Love this when coming to the finish line with family and friends, really make me emotional, thanks Jeff!
Always a good day when a new Jeff P video drops! Your videos are a big inspiration as I start my own channel.

Jeff has a very soothing voice. He is positive and caring. Audree is a pleasant and charming young lady with a very cheerful voice.

Love your films! You make us want to go there!
Another great video Jeff. And I can't wait for the Softrock and High Lonesome 100 videos.
Another great video.
I get so emotional when ever they cross that finish.
Such a journey!
GREAT stuff as alway's Jeff...YOUR day is coming (Hardrock)no doubt!! Congrats on the girl finishing High Lonesome as well...
"As long as you look good, that's all that matters". My complete 360° strategy 😬😎
Hellloooo from Ouray CO! Thank you very much for this awesome video. Great scenery….and it truly captures the community around Hardrock!
QUESTION….was your Tower Mountain hike up Hematite Basin…..or Cataract Basin?
This time it was up Hematite Basin to Hematite Lake. The approach up Cataract was much more gradual though which is what we’d attempted two years ago.

Awesome event. So difficult !!!
I got to share some miles with Costa during camp Hardrock, I'm so glad you recorded his finish so I could see!!
Oh wow! Can't wait for the films!

"Relentless forward progress" - I like that!
So many good puppies in this one!
The goodest boys.

Awesome video as always! A cheap hotel in Telluride...where might that be? Thanks, Rob
So… the hotel itself is *very* expensive. We just managed get a deal through a friend 😉
Awesome.
@22:32 that someone else is Maj from Australia!!!
is that a throw back kofuzi hat?
What are the mahoosive sunnies everyone is wearing?
How can you support country when she is in direct competition with Audrey
Haha! I am flattered you think I’m competing with her! 😅 she’s in a league of her own.
Anyone know the name of the song that starts playing around 12:47?
YANNICKK !!
Idea of pacers to each runner is new to me, why do runners need pacers?
It’s a safety thing, mostly in North America where races tend to take pace in much more remote wilderness compared to Europe, etc.
THIRD
Nice shout out to @Kofuzi
