Your work blows me away! I really appreciate you sharing your secrets and techniques, it's amazing how you paint these small scale pieces. I am an HO 1:87 scale guy, and I find your work very inspirational.
Suggestion on engine grates: go a wash on those before you do any drybrushing. Trick of the eye, but the contrast between the shadows behind a grate like that actually makes the paint over the grates look paler.
As for painting the Whip Antenna's, have you thought of using a "Sharpie" Black Permanent Marker instead of Paint??? It will not crack like Paint. "Food for Thought"...
I used to build 15mm tanks like they have gone through hell and back. Extremely brown and muddy would be a better description. It was realistic but kind of boring. Now I paint it exactly like the ones in the FoW website. It's not realistic but you get the detailing and get to appreciate the tank more. Just my 2 cents. By the way since I painted stuff in the office, I only used the brushes. Should take about 4 hours per tank.
You can only do it with the Mig and AK Interactive enamel washes. In fact in the video going up later today on the T-35 goes into more detail about what you can and can't remove regarding enamel washes.
you are a master modeler ,I secretly wish you would advance from gaming level painting into larger scale projects .. I respect your work immensely nonetheless
I'll start playing Battlegroup with some buddies. This video was really good for me. Got a lot of tips and ideas how to paint. Must say that this will be my first 15mm games. Thanks
I like how you film what you're doing then describe what you're doing after. Nice touch.
the dusting with the airbrush really builds up volume. Thanks also for the tip to go other the light part with the darker color

This is a way of weathering I've never tried. Came out great though. I'll have to try this technique myself. Your vids are always so inspiring.

Awesome - thanks for sharing :)
Had no idea you could rub the wash off of the raised areas, is this unique to the wash you used or can this be done with things like GW washes?

Do you know what the gun range is on them?
do you know where to buy stuart tanks in Britain 1:76 scale.
How big is this little M5 Stuart, I've never built 15mm scale before so I'm not so sure how big it is. Is it around 2 inches long?
Closer to 1 inch.
ThePaintingClinic
On second thought, closer to 1 1/2 inch.
Wow thats tiny, I think I'll stick to 1/35.
+Bobby Bobson Try looking at 1/56 or 28mm. They're a quite nice size while retaining detail.
do u still have them
