Ignition Controls Button Box Review!

- Hey guys, decided to try this button box out, Since the COVID summer this box has been going under the radar and I wanted to see if it works as good as it looks, have a look and let me know your thoughts, do you own this button box? how has your experience been.
Also, this box will be going to the home of one of you fine people once we cross over the 1k sub mark. I should also take this time to send out a MASSIVE FUCIN THANKS! to everyone here that has supported this page and me. I started this channel to whine about a wheel I bought to some friends and now it has my full attention. Some of the comments from you guys make me brown blush so thank you so much and stick around for the ride, I hope to do some game changing things this year for this incredible hobby!

Thanks, I've always liked this box and figured it would be a good community gift. I haven't uninstalled it yet, reluctant to do so!
So many button boxes and so many switches and button options for each of them, makes it very hard to choose one.
Ya, paralysis analysis for sure. Honestly a basic box with good encoders is all you really need. After that basic functionality, it's more about design language.

Exited for this just ordered one. They aren't cheap but the quality is flawless
That's a B-type connection. A is what goes into your pc/usb hub. It's just the really old full size B not the mini/micro that we're more accustomed to over the last decade or so.

IDK if youre gonna understand me but in theory would i be able to configure the joystick on the right to work as a rear steer switch for mud trucks and monster trucks on beamng?

Does it work with PlayStation 5?
Needs carbon fiber or some kind of surface decal like the SimLogic boxes...those look cool I think.
Their stuff looks really good, maybe I'll try one! This summer there is a super cool box coming that I'm going to switch over to that has a 7" display and other great features. Hopefully the manufacturer will stay on target but that may be a final option, check out sim_x_project on ig 😉
@@GTGREG Can you do a quick video about your profile steering wheel display in the background? I’ve wanted to build one for sometime. It’s not rocket science but I’d like to see how you did yours.

You mention not ordering with the same encoders if you were to do it again. Do they give you an option to choose what encoders you want?
You cannot select the encoders but you can pick a different box layout that has the buttons that are not illuminated. They may give you a different feel, they weren't horrible just a little deceiving
Looks really nice, how do you feel about the cable input positioning?
It's not terrible, u will need a little space between the connection port and the alum profile. I would prefer a rear exit
You can order a right angle adapter for rear exit. That is what I did.
