- I had my qualms with previous game play footage but the new Story Trailer for the Bloober developed Konami Silent Hill 2 remake coming on 8th Oct hits different! I am actually excited.

I'm not a hardcore fan of the Silent Hill series but i can see why people love it, and these recent trailers definitely got my hype, Bloober is just cooking 🔥
Speaking of trailers, a new gameplay footage was released yesterday, it has the very first 90min of the game, will you make a reaction video? If yes, i'd recommend taking the original japanese footage so the characters will actually have a voice lol.
Thank you so much for subscribing ❤️ I only recently (over the last year) really got to play the games in the franchise and I love the Silent Hill take on psychological horror. It really speaks to me.
I did see some of the 90minutes opening in Japanese. However I switched it off. I realised, I want to save my first response for when I open the game up and hit play myself. It’ll be lovely to have your opinions on the game when it comes out.
I will be making a video about the top Silent Hill inspired games I’ve played for those looking for more of that same psychological horror vibe so keep an eye out for that.
I really loved Blooper’s use of haptics in the PS5 version of The Medium. I hope they have some of that with this game, I hope I can feel the radio crackle in my hands.
That would be pretty amazing if they did that. I will be on PC and the feedback the xbox controller gets from games can be really good. I hope to have a similar experience. This trailer really has excited me.

The dress has the leapord print. And you can see the tattoo on her chest. Shes not that far off ftom the original at all. Almost identical to original concept art.
I don’t know about identical but definitely adapted. Tweaked perhaps.

Thanks! I have a couple of nice vtuber models for different occasions. I am really excited for Silent Hill 2 having played the OG one. I still have qualms about some changes but overall I think the experience if going to be a good one.
Mary in jail scene is foundational, and they’ve messed it up. It’s the first and only moment where Maria starts as Mary, then shifts to Maria’s seductive tone, and finally reveals herself completely with "I am not your Mary." It’s the moment we witness the duality of the character, which makes it so uncomfortable and terrifying. Now, she is serious the entire time, without Mary’s warmth or Maria’s seduction and flirtation. Someone at Bloober Team clearly does not understand what Silent Hill 2 is about. Very disappointed and definitely not giving them 70 bucks for this “modern audience” game.

Completely disagree. I honestly thought the original is a bit hamhanded. It's almost beating you over the head with it. This is so much more subtle, and insidious that way.

This is just one scene, have hope and don’t get down. I’m sure you’ll get surprised.
