It makes sense why they are better, the game uses the previous frame to decide where you are aiming so smgs are op as long as you can aim at there head at some point during your spray, they may be even better with follow recoil on
@@jacobstall1588 also peeker's advantage is more prevalent in cs2 so you'll see you opponent way earlier than they see you + you will be hard to hit when running and jumping with an smg

im used to cs:go getting yelled at for buying smgs, i feel like for me the mp7 and p90 are amazing, i havent tried mp9

Absolutely the same! Mac-10 and Mp-9 all day. AK and M4 are pretty much useless by comparison.

I think it’s good smgs are actually a viable option for close angles now instead of the entire game being played with 2 guns.
That's bs, there's a massive difference in price for a reason. 1200$ weapon shouldn't rival 3100$ weapon.

This is probably the ultimate conversation that goes on every time a different gun is viable. Any super skilled person will never like it, even if it balances the game in a more interesting way. Cs is still a hardcore precise aiming game so I get both sides. It’s so hard to change the game being all about 2 guns and awps.

what? the glock feels wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better than in csgo but the usp feels really dogshit. as soon as me and my mates got beta and went into a game, we all said that the glock feels super great now and the usp feels super off now. but that just my/our opinion.
Guns didn't change, the movement did and people have shit strafes now and miss everything because of inaccuracy, they just don't see it because everyone uses static crosshairs.
@@w04h This is the real answer. Sub-tick and rollback netcode means that you CAN'T counter strafe and click at the same time like you could in CS where the tick system meant both proc'd at the same time. Your shot will always fire the frame before your movement goes off due to how they programmed it. You have to fully wait until your character actually stops and then fire the frame after at the soonest. This completely fucks with everyone's muscle memory.
I had to roll my crosshair back to my non-static one that I had saved off somewhere to learn counter-strafing like, 3 years ago, just because its so different here. The little details matter, and a lot of micro-adjustments and efficiencies that everyone got used to have to be relearned
i was on gandalf and someone ran up from cat with a mp9 full FORWARD RUNNING no stop and full spray just dropped me with like double headshot from quite a long range definetly not problematic at all

Eco rounds are literally the hardest rounds to win… when you have a rifle or awp and you got a buncha fucking minions jump prefire dinking you around every corner 🤣😂
The only problem is that spraying is impossible. To hear the whole community including Flom and Shroud say it makes me feel vindicated. I was DMG in CSGO and it's like 50% chance in CS2 that I can even hit one bullet after first shot accuracy.
CS2 seems to reward tapping and bursting more than spraying it seems because of subtick.
Once people get used to CS2 and adjust accordingly, we'd get more 1-taps compared to spraydowns.
but cs IS the spray downs, they're so much better than tapping and bursting. If I wanted that I'd play valorant@@misot90
@@misot90 yea I'm coming from Valorant so tapping/bursting is how I'm used to playing, so it feels totally normal to me. also I feel like it's mostly just the AK that's bad for spraying, the m4 is an absolute laser even spraying at medium range

Sprays are bad. So its not just me. I think maybe the tracers are actually not accurate which misguides your spray.
I am glad I am not t he only player noticing that SMG's are way too strong. Combined with the fact that spraying with rifles feels ass, its literally so broken, and gold nova players often get the better of you with a SMG despite them being much worse at the game mechanically. Also it seems as if the tracers are WAY WAY off - They were a good indication of spray in CSGO, but now they are pretty much useless.

They added a moving crosshair that follows the spray pattern, its honestly pretty good for realigning your aim and getting you really accurate up to like 10 shots in. The wiggles back and forth still feel way to random tho

its because the hitboxes are miss aligned when you are sprinting so the other team is practically shooting at ghosts while you are perfectly accurate sprinting with an mp9
They aren't anymore they got fixed in yesterdays update the video is dated now.
@@w04h they only fixed the aligntment for when you are crouching and stuff but as soon as you move they go back to being horrendous

model sway is the biggest problem. CSGO models moved hardly at all, and CS2 models are just all over the place.

I was MGE in csgo but in cs2 players use much more utilities the amount of grenades and mollies thrown every round is insane

right? I've been running smg for years and not much has changed. hit reg is just more true now and less glitchy. People have just gotten used to compensating for shit reg I guess
I think its just that people can't aim with the rifles yet. Sub-tick fucks with counter-strafing technique a lil and your shooting mechanics are tied to client frame-rate we found out, so those with lower end computers (or those who left the game on for longer than 6 hours due to a memory leak) may be having a feel-able difference with how the rifles perfom that they tend to describe as "Sluggish"
SMGs do not suffer from this, as the tactic remains the same and never required precision timing or execution. Spray and pray and keep on moving around. As long as a player can track-aim it feels like it always has, which is actually an indirect buff for these players
