Bought this bag, in black but with embossed croc cover about 8 years ago... and only used it twice when it was new... loved it too much and thought it was too delicate and cumbersome to use... then I considered selling it off for the next 5 years... then I decided to use it for one week before selling it... boy! I fell in love with it even more. It is the most practical bag for work - holds my water bottle , makeup pouch etc... no it is not a bag I would use for shopping or having lunch with friends. I need a handbag base tho since I am using it to transport my ‘house’ with it. Unfortunately, it is not suitable to hold my 15 inch laptop tho.
Your view is so helpful for me, I may not go with this one as my working bag, but really graceful outfit!!!!!

In my opinion this bag is not great as a everyday work bag. I use my MG bucket bag as a work bag.

Thank you for the honest review! I found it very helpful. I think trapeze is officially off the list, considering the pros and cons. It's a beautiful bag, and yours holds up so well. I am now more interested in the belt bag, though. Unfortunately, I heard about practicality issue with that too...:(
+Gloria Qiu the belt bag is unfortunately very difficult to open and close if you are in hurry. I also tried phantom and luggage, both even heavier than trapeze. But there is something about these Celine bags (phantom, luggage and trapeze) that I am very attracted to. I love their cool look and I love that my trapeze goes with almost every outfit and all life situations, like work, shopping.... Thank you so much for watching dear Gloria :)
Thanks so much! I remember watching your reveal when I was deciding whether or not to get one. I ended up getting the vermillion with silver hardware. It's so lovey, but the inconvenience of it also bothers me a bit. I can't bear to let it go, but I don't know how to get myself used to it. We'll see... Maybe now that I carry less stuff, I'll like it more. Then again, why carry a huge bag for only a few things. Hm...
While I love this bag, I don't know anyone who owns it and loves it. I've heard your concerns from everyone. I considered buying a red one, but my friend begged me not to as she hates hers. LOL! Too bad - it looks so nice!!

great review on the trapeze! I think the only true functional Celine bag is the Luggage tote LOL! I have a semi love-hate relationship with my Phantom as well.. I love how much it fits and stores for work.. but when its loaded with stuff inside it is insanely heavy.. knocks into everything, list goes on! Love the all black trapeze though! You pull it off well in your outfits!!!! :D

But I still love all of these bags because they are very especial. their designs are cool and edgy. It is like'd carry a piece of art. And now after having tried the Chanel jumbo nothing seems to be heavy at all, lol
Thanks for confirming the large trapeze does not come with the shoulder strap. I had been wondering why I never had a shoulder strap I purchased mine 3 years ago.

I have the same problem with my trapeze bag too! There's a thing somewhere in the clip that fell out whenever I left it unclipped, I tried to have it fix but sadly they can't fix it. I guess I have to deal with it until it lasts.
It is a bummer, after all they do cost a small fortune. What colour is yours?
I thought it was just me because I love smooth leather too but it's too delicate :( Your trapeze is gorgeous but I can imagine it being too big at times. Love the video as always xx

Thank you so much! Mine is in medium. Small doesn't come with a shoulder strap and the bigger size was too big for my frame.

The closure issue Seems very impractical to use as a day to day bag .. would you have some similar looking alternatives to recommend?
I ended up selling this bag. To be honest, I bought it just because it reminded me a lot of the Hermes Kelly bag. In my opinion the best alternative is the Fendi Peekaboo. 💕
