Merino! I own 38,000 merino and 7500 rambouillets! Romney are not that profitable in fact it is quite difficult to sell it, rambouillets are versatile, hardy and a nice texture merinos are extremely fine, luxurious and easy to sell! I own a textiles processing company which buys wool from farmers and processes it into textiles i found that Romney wool is difficult to sell and is not profitable but a loss!
This is my opinion I would love to hear yours!

Thank you so much for sharing your experience! It’s always great to hear from someone with such extensive involvement in both wool farming and textile processing. I agree with you on Merino-its fine, luxurious wool really stands out in the market and is in high demand, especially in the fashion industry. It’s great to hear that Rambouillet is working well for you, too. The balance of versatility and texture, along with its hardiness, definitely makes it a strong competitor in the wool market."
"As for Romney wool, I totally understand your point. In the video, I did mention that Romney wool is more suited for industrial or heavy-duty textiles like rugs and carpets, where durability is more important than softness. However, it’s clear from your experience that it’s not always easy to find buyers for it, and I appreciate you sharing that insight. It’s a good reminder that market demand can really vary depending on the region and industry focus. Your experience as a textile processor adds a valuable perspective to the discussion!"
"Thank you again for your input-I really appreciate hearing from professionals like you! Feel free to share more of your thoughts or insights anytime. I’m always interested in learning from others in the field.
