- Haven't had an Oreo in over 5 years but the Highkey is closest for me just wish there was more filling and better oil. But with the better ingredients and price, Choczero are a very good choice. And if anyone feels the need to say you shouldn't eat prepackaged keto foods please don't. I have a 16 month old and trying to do two jobs from home and we do eat a lot of my homemade stuff and it's still better than eating Oreos filled with an insane amount of sugar.

I made oreo balls with the dunkies I did add black cocoa powder for a more oreo taste but so good. I actually like the golden dunkies a little better.

I stock up on the vanilla ones from chocolate zero they are so close to regular.
Interesting, might need to try them. I've never had the vanilla oreos though, so I guess I wouldn't know if they were close or not, lol.

You're welcome! I've tried one keto marshmallow I like haven't tried any others so might do that at some point. I do have a Graham cracker and marshmallow cream video. Eventually will do a regular marshmallow video.
I think most of the prepackaged treats have a lot garbage in them. Baking our own, if we really need a treat is best. Or if you are lucky enough to be able to buy treats from Alycia!

I tried the Dunkies and could not believe how good they were. I went to buy them again - sold out ☹. They are amazing as a mix-in to ice cream!

Been eating only Choczero products for years now. My favorites are the hazelnut spread❤, grape jelly, vanilla dunkies❤MARSHMALLOWS and the Rhea bars. I've made so many desserts using their products including a 3 layer Mississippi mud cake.

Wait! HighKey has 13g of net carb not 3!!!
22g total minus 9 fiber, 5 erythritol, 5 allulose equals 3 net carbs. The only sugar alcohols that shouldn't be deducted completely are ones higher on the glycemic index like isomalt and maltitol.
They're subtracting the erythritol and allulose which aren't metabolized. I think they're are FIVE sweeteners. I think the ogliofructose is one. Since they're all natural sweeteners, I'm OK with that. Together, they probably provide a good flavor profile. But I can certainly live without the canola oil.
The alkali cocoa called black cocoa powder is the one that gives the oreo its unique flavor. I use it sometimes for low carb protein shakes with the vanilla flavored protein powder. I never liked any Highkey cookies bc the chemical taste. Probably frm erythrotol. TY!

I have two boxes of vanilla Catalina Crunch sitting in my cupboard. I can't even eat them. But I hate wasting stuff. Maybe I can crunch them up into some kind of crust for something where they aren't the main attraction? LOL
Yeah I would use them as a cheesecake crust or something. I'm the same way!
I recently tried the ChocZero butter cookies. They have a great taste. However, they are addictive for me. Oh boy are they ever!

I am not a chocolate oreo fan, but I do like the golden oreos and I have to say the Golden Dunkies by Choc Zero are the BOMB!! 🤯🥰

I will wait patiently for your recipe update for the Oreos, dear Alycia and I really cross my fingers that these will taste much more better than the original 😱😱😱 - I've had only once an original Oreo and it was horrible way to sweet for me and I couldn't swallow it 😮!!

I was a double stuffed Oreo eater and didn’t like the high key maybe because not enough filling
Choc zero was better but felt none of the keto Oreo cookies have that original dark chocolate cookie flavor. I would just call them a chocolate cream cookie.

Resistant Dextrin is a no for me. It derived from corn and I can't eat grains because I have Celiac Disease.

I love the Highkey ones, hate Catalina and just can’t get past the amount of carbs in them. I haven’t tried the dunkies yet.
Any cookie recipe that absorbs milk is what I'm looking for. I don't know if it is the fiber/flour that determines this or that somehow little bubble are created when baking to make a place to hold milk?
Yeah I'm not sure, guess I'll find out when I start experimenting.

Catalina crunch are like the worst generic chocolate sandwich cookies money can buy, the super cheap ones in a massive package that were for the kids when i was growing up and they have that texture like a package of cookies left open for a few days with the evaporative cooler (swamp cooler) running. High key ones are better and don't have to be ordered since i can get them at some Walmarts. I like that the entire package is 350 calories and 15 carbs. They don't taste like an oreo though. They need some black cocoa like serious keto uses in some of his recipes. Never tasted choc zero. Wish there were something keto that actually tasted like an oreo. And I had some real oreos a few weeks ago (i have one regular carb meal every couple months, a meal, not a day for long term sustainable lifestyle) so I'm not basing the taste comparison on a far distant memory.
Some day I'd like to taste keto ones side by side with the real ones.
If the high key had any more filling they'd be too sweet for me. My favorite real oreos are the dark chocolate cream filled oreos.
I've tried so many recipes and nothing seems to capture that taste of Oreos
As Alycia says, the best thing to do with keto “friendly” products like Catalina Crunch is to test your own blood sugar. We’re all different.
I take the filling out of mine (I like the cookie) based on cookie which do you feel is the closest to an Oreo? 😊
