I have a laptop that will boot 9Front via only one of the usb2 ports. It doesn't like the usb3s and the other usb2 port. You may tray a usb2A to usb2C adapter to see if the front port works. Keep up the great work. Edit: one more thing. The brand of usb drive can sometimes make a difference.
Once I was able to get it on the grid, I found that 9Front was trying and failing over and over to restart the USB system. So it could see the USB ports, but for some reason was failing to initialize them. I'll have to dig into the drivers to see what is failing.
Any chance you could upstream the changes to 9front for the USB? Some day I might get one of these and it would be nice if things worked 'out of the box'. :)
