Paladin is not in the same league as Punk though... he never makes it top 16 in any major tournament. So not surprising that he would lose here. Punk has faster reaction speed and better focus than Paladin, so it doesn't matter which character he is using, he'll get the W.

This game is the BEST! Go back in time and show that to me in '93 when we were standing in line to play SF2 and the "old ones" knew how to perform DP's and the smalls like me tried to figure out the "secret move"... so many Blanka vs Blanka double KOs from balling each other... I would ve killed my ... not but close... to be able to play a game like this one. Never understood "fan service"(*) as an expression. This game is serving fans what they want and it's what it should do. (*) of course I know what it means IRL when commonly used, please don't come at me for explaining this(*)
I predict this game will give us moments comparable to Evo37... pretty soon... it's very cleaverly done to be good to play, good to watch and prone to creating amazing action situations... on big screens
@@samuraiprime5044 It isn't much different online... Akuma has most of his old moves, and once you practice a few combos and lock it in muscle memory, you're good to go.

At the start he was dropping combos left and right, and trying to do SFV combos that don’t work like light tatsu > heavy tatsu. And this was all in ranked lol. Some people just hate to see other peopl’s skill I guess

DI can be easily countered if you just throw it mindlessly though, especially on high level fights like this. Most pro players use it when the opponent is burnout.

Ryu's zoning is pretty good, especially after he is able to save his Denjin. If played correctly, he can even beat Guile in fireball shootouts.
