First time ever I see a video that makes FM so straight forward to people more used to analog subtractive synthesis. I'm just past half the length of your video, and I already love it. Congrats and thanks
Thanks for going beyond the usual knob turning and basic info. I've been trying to get into operator for a while now but always end up using something else. Can't wait to get on it and try it out now. Cheers.

Totally right! FM should be practical and fun, rather than all this theoretical content that you then forget to use... Glad it's helped :)
Operator is one of the most powerful synths whether you’re going for simple analog synth or a crazy FM synth.
Love the tip about creating transients! Definitely gonna use that one
This is great tutorial, I have recently learned few things recently but yours one is in more detail and straight forward. Thank you for sharing 😊👍

That basic bass line tip was super useful. Layering is the key and great point re: operator making that really easy all in one device. thanks Luca!!!
Yess super useful the way it's set up righttt
Accidental remix of 5 8 6 by New Order at 13 minutes. Nice and useful vid cheers.
Who knew that such a good (and simple) bass sound was hiding in plain sight! Thank you 👍
Your all Tips is a must! Thanks for sharing!
Good advice, thank you for your time making this 🤙

Great tips. Super practical!
What was the effect at 7:34 please ?
Love your work ❤
is there a way to bring your own samples into operator?
Not that we're aware of, unfortunately!
If I could buy more ups from UA-cam and apply them to this video I would. Great stuff!
What headphones are you using in this video please?
Hey! Im using the Beyerdynamic DT880 Pro
thankyou
super usefull
tons of likes man thx
the operator is not showing up on instruments, it doesnt even show on search. i have ableton 11
Great video, but what the hell to people mean by 'transients'? Are they notes, harmonics or what?
it's just a brief section of audio that's at a high amplitude. Look at the waveform of any drum loop and the peaks are the transients.
Sweeet
operators perfectly succeeded
