'Winter' is 'new' (and extremely deadly) if you are experiencing an 'ice storm' while driving around Texas.

Nope. Has already been tried out. Drivers in the US, snowed in on the highway with their EV, did perfectly fine. 24 hours stationary in snow on the highway, a Tesla EV went from 80% to 60% charged. (PS: I like ICEs better but those are the facts...).

I've been around for sixty plus years living in the upper Midwest and I can tell you it's damned cold in the winter and scorching hot in the summer. Some winters we get very little snow and other years a ton of snow. We get four seasons up here, enjoy them. We're going to be dead for a long time.

Its simple THE CITY & MAYOR SHOULD BE FIRED. they knew it was coming for days. The roads where not plowed or salted when it started sunday eveing.
Monday moring still nothing was plowed ther roads where all 2 ft high of snow and there was zero sign it was plowed.
4 busses where stuck outside my street (yes iam on a major street (3 lanes each way) just in case someone says side streets are last.
The buses didnt even go into the subway but let you 600 meters from the subway. I made my way there streets and sidewalk where over 2 ft tall of snow. Then once inside subway it was shute down after 30 min more the operator said busses were on the way BUt wont be coming into subway we had to go back out to street level 600m away in deep snow.
Even the TTC guy said he blames the city & i agree they should have had every worker out there none stop plowing since sunday eveing. They started plowing monday late afternoon by then it was TOO LATE. 10s os 1000's buses & cars were alreday stopped as well the ttc so noone could move.
I went up to street level no busses came. Its normally a 20 min buss ride about. To walk this in a summer day would take 1.5 hours to 2 hours i figure NOW WITH THIS snow it probbaly take 3 hours. My feet were alreday cold and wett and was no way i could make it to work. i walked almost 2 kms then had to hitch hike. after awhile i got a guy that was going futher then me and got a ride i gave him $50 gift card.
The other issue when i was trying to flag down a car noone wanted to stop they said get out the way or get away from my car, others pointed to the buss stop to go wait there for buss, but there was no busses no subway. Thats why we all will die noone wants to help your fellow man kind.
Shame on you drivers that did that God will punish you in another way for not helping people in need.
I thought i was gonna get frost burned feet & if i couldnt make it home i would go to the closest hopital that was halfway from where i was to home
BTW if this has anything to do with the city for firing people who were was pricked they had half the people clearing the roads I STILL DONT CARE IF THE CITY FIRED THEM THEN THE CITY SHOULD NOW BE FIRED AS ITS STILL THEIR FAULT.

Canada is NOT freezing under -30 degree temperatures, parts of Western Canada are. I live in Southern Ontario and I can't remember ever seeing -30 degrees, in fact the last time we had a temperature of -30 was in 1886!!
You forget the wind chill factor? People don't get literal frostbite because it's not too cold in Ontario.
