  • Australian Army Engineers examine and destroy Viet Cong explosives captured by 5th Battalion RAR. The ammunition included home made and Chinese manufactured grenades, Viet Cong captured American 155mm artillery shells (improvised as land mines) explosive and shrapnel carriers. The Viet Cong "cottage industry" products were labelled and laid out at the bomb disposal unit's bush camp in Vietnam.
