Do you advise burpees for warmup?
Hell no!
Burpees are a really intense activity. If you start your session by going as hard as you possibly can, you're just begging for all injury.
Or just take em real slow at first. Careful about the knees.

I was flexible from taekwondo being able to do head kicks but now after a few years not training my groin and hips are so tight it hurts to even kick waist height lol

Haim I'm 45 years old I was wondering how can I Learn head kick I'm not really that's flexible
Do the leg swings everyday to loosen up. Forwards, side and behind. Then practise your kicks. At the end of every workout do static stretches (like the splits). Aim to hold each stretch for 30 seconds or more. Remember to breath deeply and try to relax. As you breath out try to gently push further into your stretch and push past your limits. Then relax until all the tension is gone and try again for 3 sets. Stretch everyday but always start out slow with gentle leg raises to warm up. Don't ever throw kicks cold. You're not a kid any more dude. Best of luck. Btw I'm a 37yo male, been able to do the splits + high kicks since I was 16. It took me 7 months to get my splits and I stretched almost everyday. It takes a long time to get flexible but it is always possible with a little effort and consistency.
