    Damn Mike, some of those spot made my sphincter pucker a bit and I'm just watching the video. Clearly the last stretches of that trail were a one way point of no return. I'm happy to see you made it out safely (but knew that from later videos).

    I would have gone with the forward a arms instead of the lift to keep center of gravity down. Even if that meant a little smaller tire.

      Yeah i agree. I will definitely need to get the forward a arms now with those tires.

    Don’t ever put your arm out to save you from tipping 💀

    How did the Maxxis Carnivore tires perform in all the different terrains you encountered?

    • @UTVDIRT
      @UTVDIRT  5 років тому

      They performed very well. The ride was very smooth and they plowed through the mud and deep ruts with ease. Very satisfied with the tires. I just need to get forward a arms to stop the rubbing in the front but that's no fault of the tires.

    Hey guys! Love the videos can’t wait to get my 18 xp1000 out on the trail. Was wondering why you haven’t put a windshield on yours yet?

      I want to get one but i have been going back and forth on what to get full or half and glass or poly. I am glad i waited because now i know what to get after this trail ride.

      UTV DIRT I would highly recommend glass. I have a hard coat poly one from Polaris. Washed it when it was wet and with glass cleaner using a clean microfiber rag and it still scratched.

      Full is good when it's cold. Half is good when it's hot and dusty. With a full glass up front in the summertime dust is real bad to circulate in the cab.

      The nice thing about the Polaris windshields is the lock and ride system. Takes 30 seconds to take it off or put it back on!

      Yeah I will probably go with half for trail riding and for winter get a full windshield.

    when you did your first field trial test, did you have any issues with the 30 inch tires hitting or rubbing?

    • @UTVDIRT
      @UTVDIRT  5 років тому

      No i did not have any rubbing issues when i tested it out on my land but it was all flat land. When i was at the trail i would make a sharp turn to back up on a hill or rut it would rub when the shock was compressed. If your going to put 30 inch tires you will need forward a arms.
