Phil Spector had a long history of pointing loaded guns at guests in his home. It was only a matter of time before a gun went off. Phil was a guy who was bat shit crazy and who never should have owned a gun.

They were good enough they both became minor celebrities which allowed robert to leverage that into a position to be around more Hollywood stars which allowed his daughter to become paris Hilton's assistant which led to the sex tape which in turn led to everything else with the Kardashians long after Robert died. Basically OJ was responsible for the Kardashians, a crime worse than murder
Even at the moment of him hearing the verdict, OJ was surprised that he is not guilty.

People are not generally put in jail for murder or manslaughter for a car accident. There has to be negligence -- alcohol/drugs, reckless driving, etc. At most in the U.S. Broderick might have served a year or two if he'd been convicted of reckless driving. His case is different (as Laura Bush). They didn't set out to kill someone on purpose, unlike almost everyone else on this list.

What I find funny is that we hear all the time every day that you can't put a price on human life and yet the court system does that all the time. All civil court trials are about is compensation. Pistorious definitely killed her. He even used hollow point rounds which would be used primarily for killing.
Holow point rounds are for preventing extensive collateral damage. They are helpful in preventing unnecessary deaths due to over penetration of barriers. They aren't "primarily for killing."
He knew what he was doing when he killed her though.
If you shoot somebody with a hollow point, you're still much more likely to kill them than if you use a normal bullet.
