I thought you might find this amusing: My sister went to Key West recently & brought me back postcards. (I’m a homebody & request all my relatives bring me back postcards of their travels, cheap & easy to store memories.) Anyway, she brought me a Hemingway House card & I blurted out, “Oh, I just visited there!” She thought I’d gone delusional until I explained that I went on a virtual tour with my friends on UA-cam. 🤣 I felt like I was revisiting it with the cards. ❤
I’d have to have a list of things that NEED to be done before and after, and during a trip until I remember all of it…..once you got it all down…..easy. 😫😃
I alway kept a little water in the gray tanks to flush out sewage hose after dumping , when traveling put a few gallons in the sewage tank let it slosh around while traveling , if you have an connection for water flush in sewage , when u use it do not leave connected
It's great watching videos, or in person, of other people's campers and their setup. I used to have an old VW LT35, which was 23.5foot long. I swapped her and my car for a Ford transit custom, swb. I find it easier to manoeuvre on the small roads of the UK, especially on the single track roads. 😁
This reminds me of when my husband and I lived on our sailboat. Big prep every time we took it out to sail or took it on a sailing adventure. Make sure nothing could fall and break and taking to dump the waste at the pump out station.
If you’re traveling through Calgary, July 5-14, the Greatest Show on Earth, The Calgary Stampede is on and fun, fun, fun! Thanks for your excellent explanation and vid of all to get going! Happy Days! 🧊😄☀️👏🤗🥰🙏
We just had to put lubricant on the slide to keep it going good. Loving to see you guys pack up, people think it’s so easy to have a motorhome. SAFE TRAVELS TO YOUR NEW DESTINATION!!! We’re camping in state park that we’ve never been before for 4 th of July weekend.
That was a great watch, thank you - yes, it's a bit of a saga setting up and breaking camp, but the payoff is in having a really comfortable place to be and enjoy, whilst you are stationary - and to be fair - so long as it isnt raining while you are doing all that, it's just another part of the journey, and it gets quicker with practice WE all need to retire in our 50s to be able to get this down pat, and make the most of being alive before the body starts to lose strength and flexibility - Enjoy!!
Yes, it takes some time to stow everything away to prepare for travel and set everything back up again. But, it’s always fun to see our next campsite. Safe travels 😊
I'm sure it would but then you have wear and tear on the trailer and something else to maintain and register. This is a manual shift so it's easy to disengage the transfer case. Only bearings and tires get wear and tear. It's minimal.
I live in the valley and would love to buy you dinner at matsu resort. And my driveway is open if you need it. I have water n free and outdoor electric.
Thanks for sharing Madam Mayor and Brett, good work Brett its a lot of work moving camp sites i appreciate you both stay safe sending love from across the planet Australia 🩷🫶🩷🫶

Neat story
What a great lesson on what is needed to get your motor home ready for the road. Happy travels, and be safe out there. ❤
I wish you both happy and safe travels! 🇺🇸
That was a great tutorial! Never knew what it took to move from one place to another in an RV! Kinda makes me want to RV! Thank you! Great video!
Love traveling with you. Thanks for the invite. Donna northern Michigan
Thanks for coming

My goodness. What a production to tow the jeep.
💗Safe travels beautiful people💗
Thank you that was very informative. Safe travels.
There is so involved. As much as I would love to own an RV for now I’ll stick to tenting. Drive safe and have fun.❤❤❤
I have done both tenting and RVing I had both down to a science. I could close the RV up faster. You have to have a check list to do it.

We had three days just out of Denali that we had terrible smoke!
Connect a bleed valve to avoid getting sprayed. It is a couple of dollars. Have a nice summer to you both....

You have to watch them if they suck in to far they will strip the worm gears in the jacks
These Jacks are hydraulic.
Have a great holiday weekend!

We'll still be in alaska.

Awesome
Several of the VFWs have campgrounds if JBER is Full; they are also reasonably priced
Thanks! You guys rock
Thank you for the love. ❤️
We keep some cheap seat cushions around and my husband kneels on one when he is working around the camper.
That's a great idea!

Good video. Thanks

Broad jump from side to side Brett lol!!,! When hooking up the Jeep.your beach ball needs some exercise
You could try using a flexible hose 🤔
God bless and keep you both during your travels. 😊🤗😘
Thank you! 🤗
Good Afternoon Madam Mayor and Brett
This is an amazing place to live 😊 hope to run into you guys around before you head back south
Moving campsites you sure do need a Brett to do all of that wow
I know all about flushing grey and black water tanks when I had my 10 ft pickup camper. Great times camping back years ago
Hi Brett and madam mayor
Safe travels! God Bless!!!
Yes, it takes some time to stow everything away to prepare for travel and set everything back up again. But, it’s always fun to see our next campsite. Safe travels 😊
So true!
Thanks for sharing ŵhat it takes to move to your campsite. Safe travels
My son just landed in Anchorage he's going to help his cousins captain on a commercial. Fishing boat for salmon . Hope you all had a happy 4th of july
Cool.
On to the next adventure, ✌ ❤😊
You have a beautiful RV. I am really jealous.
Thank you for sharing your journey 👍🎥
That's a lot to have to go through. but y'all got it down packed. Just be safe on the road.
Very interesting!
I figured this was prep for the move to Anchorage..nice video
Gee, Lots of work moving.
Love your travels. I try to watch as much I can.
Glad you like them!
Very educational!
What a awesome adventure. Thanks for sharing. Taking off dose take some time. Can’t wait to see how much everything has grown in the next era.
Hello Madam Mayor and hubby, I was wondering why I wasn't getting notifications of your videos, you-tube must have kicked me off. Happy I'm back on.
Yes, that does happen. Glad to have you back!
I wonder what kind of water flow if you could get a 2 inch hose. lol
Probably a pretty decent amount.
Bless you 😅
My family's name is Bruns if you see it around anywhere 😊😊
Have great day ❤❤❤❤
Brett your retirement belly is coming along nicely. I have one too. When I look down and can see most of my feet.... all good.
Working on that. Working progress.
@@MadamMayorsAdventures Ha ha, I've been working on mine for 5 years.
Thanx for sharing
Can't you use the flex hoses that shrink up when you are not using them?
Hey there guys ❤😊😊
I was thinking if you got a trailer to put your jeep on, wouldn't that be less wear and tear on the jeep?
I'm sure it would but then you have wear and tear on the trailer and something else to maintain and register. This is a manual shift so it's easy to disengage the transfer case. Only bearings and tires get wear and tear. It's minimal.
I wonder how mant times Brett has hit his head on the slid out
Thank you that was great watching you ready for the road.
Glad you enjoyed it
How do you remember all that, in our seventies ies he would need a check list...😅
They’re called leveling jacks
I love going on adventures with you!
We love having you.
Safe travels
I was thinking that he needed knee pads. . . Dollar tree has knee pads for gardeners.
Happy travels
I live in the valley and would love to buy you dinner at matsu resort. And my driveway is open if you need it. I have water n free and outdoor electric.
We'd be open to dinner sometime.
Call some companies for the e-bikes other you tubes have called and made deals…can’t hurt.
Good tip
How do you get the door open to use the bathroom at stops when you are traveling?
You can walk back to the bathroom with the slide out closed.
@@MadamMayorsAdventuresI typed that when you shut the door in the video without removing the storage rack. Later you said you didn't remove it. ❤
Does that front piece on the Jeep get welded on or just bolted?
The front bumper is an off-road aftermarket, and it's bolted with 8 bolts to the frame.
My guess, all of Anchorage is on the Kenai judging by the traffic in Soldotna.
We plan to head to soldotna toward the end of july.
Reds will be in hot.
Hi from 🇨🇦.Great team work .
Hello madam mayer ❤
I'm dying to know if you guys saw any bears in Alaska?!!
We saw a lot travelling thru Canada, not in alaska yet.
Ty enjoyed that x❤
So glad!
Sweet!! You make it all look so easy Brett!! Yeah, baby’s gotta have her coffee!! 😊
Are you going to Valdez?
We plan to on the way out.
What Is boondocking?
Camping without utilities.
👍👍👍
AHOYA.
Hi
That’s the Christmas Wish list program lol
Have you seen any wild horses ?
No
When towing your vehicle behind the RV do you guys go through more fuel than normal.
When you get to a new place do you level the RV before or after you put the slides out? Please help me with this thanks.
I don't think it really makes any difference. I've done it both ways.
@@MadamMayorsAdventures thanks so much. Praying your adventures continue to be safe and loads of fun.
Talk to Honey from Taking a Rizk (related to George from what The Hales} she may be able to tell you who to talk to to get an EBIKE sponsor.
Did theirs get donated or did they buy them?
Donated @@MadamMayorsAdventures
