Is C# hard? Right now i can build project with Full Stack Js (MERN stack).But i'm so interested in learning c#
@@k303k Difficulty is entirely dependent on the developer. But let me put it this way: when I was younger, as a primarily PHP and JS developer, I had a chance to glance at C# code. I had never looked at it before, never coded in C# before, but I was still about to grasp what the program was doing. That was a really cool moment. So if you're a full-stack JS dev, I think you shouldn't have too much trouble with C#.

It's the Microsoft way and it changes with every major upgrade. They used to push everyone to write inserts and updates inside a data grid. Just learn the fundamentals and implement your tips and tricks as needed.

i was just at microsoft learn, i wouldnt mind a c# cert but there is no test out of the basic levels, I stopped using c# at version 5. I need to get up to speed with the new features, I just cant believe i have to go thru the basic levels. it is tough to look at a series of variables that should be an array of grades for each student lol

For Part 5 Challenge project, there's a bug in the Final program. The default value for optional parameter in Move method should be true, not false.

Thanks for talking about the uses before getting into it! This isn't THE most popular language so I didn't know much about it initially (I'm a bachelors student), but it has caught my interest as I see the name popping up now and then in the profiles of industry professionals.

I am a beginner .NET developer, and as someone who is not very confident about his technical skills, I thought taking this course would help me build a strong foundation in C#. I also believe this certificate will add value to my resume.
If yes, please let me know, because I am somewhat uncertain if this will actually help me.
Can I ask, how would you go about mentioning a certification like this in a CV? Would that be a covering letter thing or a part of the education section? I'm a bit confused how to mention online learning.
You add this to your certications section along with any other certifications or certificates you have
I wouldn't add it to a CV unless you have zero C# projects to show. Otherwise it looks bad that you would bring attention to a certificate to showcase your knowledge instead of work you've done
I am a consultant working as a Cloud developer. My bosses are always bugging us about putting our certifications on our CV. In other words, i totally disagree with what you wrote. You should showcase your certifications on your CV and linkedin.
@@johnchimbani8473 That applies to a certificate like AWS, Comptia or CCNA. Or you just want to show you've continued to learn after finishing a degree years ago. Not to show competency in something that should be shown with projects.
The certificate are useless no company will actually take them serious

Currently it's not possible to verify the "Trophy" for the first challenge.
"Now that you've completed all of the "Write Your First Code Using C#" challenges, you should have earned a trophy for it on Microsoft's learning platform."
So i earned a badge for this not a trophy. Is there a delay before i can verify it? Or is it because im german and using "de-de" instead of "en-us" in the URL?

I will criticize a few thing hope someones from Microsoft saw this. First Machine Translate is not good if there are option I definitely choose English.Second there are good example tasks but there are no checking mechanism like Harvard Cs50 only have after questions but a few of them of this questions about not mentioned info in course.Finally I don't like both way answer questions make Microsoft learn or freecodecamp both of them is little boring. But main problem is machine translate I hope they give language option in future.

Remember programming languages are just a tool
Programming is knowing how to use those tools to do things so most of the time you need to know programming fundamentals and more in general
