Or is your knowledge about (obscure) German regions so intimate that you a) know the region and b) know its about the furthest away from Bavaria (the region where this costume/accent is supposed to be from) you can get.

But to make it fair your opponents are allowed to wear the coolest and/or most terrifying costumes to add a psychological warfare factor to the mix. Too bad the match was against the unflappable Spice, they just calmly sip their tea in response

Never been to the UK either, so yeah, that lack of real world immersion might be a reason. I'd be even worse with American accents, other than placing southern sounding ones (maybe). Tbf, that's probably with any accents we haven't been exposed to much, bet there are German accents from the west that I wouldn't be able to place as someone from the east.
Today we learned: 2 mana flash 6/6 that kills on etb is so pushed it won't show up until Modern Horizons 5. Mox jet + sol ring for 0 with scry is a very good card, probably good for vintage masters 3. 1 mana duremoval is a very good card coming soon in a random secret lair. 1 mana 3/3 that returns from the yard for 2 at instant speed and can block if he wants is scary but somehow actually plays fine, coming to you on Modern Horizons 4. Upgrade suggestions: Dark ritual but it costs 0 and you choose 2 of the following: 1. Add BBB, 2. Entomb, 3. draw 2 cards then discard 1 card. I guess it can also have flashback for B and when it's cast for flashback you put a 6/6 token onto the battlefield it has haste and trample and 'whenever tokenName deals damage to any player that player discards their hand and you draw a card for each card discarded that way' - gotta keep it competitive after all.
Can we do "Magic but it's Slay the Spire"? Some trivial fights, like a Carl with 5hp, some random story encounters, all the while slowly upgrading your deck (only once per card) and adding and removing cards. The player's health would carry over. Trinkets could be emblems. End with a cool boss and a "Like the video if you want to see floor 2!"
I adore the inclusion of the limited deck in Spice's journey ^^ I wish it was Limited-Pauper-Standard-Modern-Legacy (sorry Pionieer) but it was such a great watch regardless. Cheers!

@Hoologramek pauper would have been a little harder to calibrate 🤔 since pauper is stronger than standard, but maybe déranger than pioneer? I assume it fits under modern. Anyway :) we have some pauper content coming up! And Spice is indeed feeling much better now

Pretty cool concept. I would have loved to see more speadout little upgrades isnstead of some insane upgrades like the diamond or chubacabra. Phyrexian arena could give 1 life instead of lose one, skeleton could have been a 1 mana card and one to bring it back untapped, the diamon would have been already good if it didn't enter tapped. The urborg was actually a little down side since spike had no colorless lands to make them swamps but his opponents could have used it. Tho the insane diamond and murder probably make for a more interessting experience to watch because they are so overpowered
I wish used the "the more I play this, the better it gets" mechanic more. Like jade golems from hearthstone, muscle burst and experience counters and the like

We actually had a modern game planned but Spice felt sick and had to head back to their hotel, so we never got to film the modern game.

Once the Drudge Skeletons was regenerated at 9:32 , it should have been tapped in addition to removing it from combat and unmarking all damage.
