HOW I LEARNED FRONT TAILS IN ONE SESSION (FRONTSIDE TAILSLIDES)

- I got a skateboarding box off Facebook Marketplace with the goal of learning more tricks on ledges. One of my dream tricks has always been a tailslide. I was able to learn it in only one session! See my process on how I learned it!

Nice progress. I would suggest try some front tails to switch. The key to sliding front tails is to make sure your front wheel (toeside rear wheel..) does not catch on the ledge. The best way to do that is to try to overturn the tailslide so that your heelside wheel is making contact, from there it is easier to pop out to switch.
Not the first one to tell me that! I’ll definitely try that next time :)
That's a good progress for 1 day, in a week or 2 it will be much better, keep on pushing :')
yea! been trying it whenever I have a ledge and they're getting more consistent
good job dude, front tails are such a mental battle for me, they seem simple enough but it's so hard for me to confidently sit on top of them i always half ass them and cant lock in
i get it, i have the same problem with nose slides. just gotta really think of it like a tail/nose stall and hope that eventually the muscle memory kicks in
@@midskateboarder thats a really good tip! thank you
@@einnorwdid you go out and try em yet ?!
@@midskateboarder no, but i will today just for you and report back! 🤣 if i get a good one ill post the clip
been seeing the videos let’s get a sesh
just checked your vids, you're way ahead of where I am haha, always down to skate though!
Gee, this trick kills me. Could never slide them, usually hit the wheel, but haven’t tried in a while. Try 5-0 180 out. You grind it tweaked out (called a suski) but not as extreme as that one you did near the end!
the only few i have slid really well I have gone out to fakie, one of the comments on my video suggested doing that on purpose to get the hang of it. it's still a hard trick for me, i'm trying to make my noseslides better as I feel like that will help too
