- Welcome to the first video in this 1956 Vendo 81 Coke Machine Restoration Series!
We start this series by opening up the 1956 Vendo 81 Machine for the first time in decades. We show a little on the teardown but unfortunately lost some of the footage. We will jump forward to some of the blocking and last I will show you my trick on removing the legs of these machines without breaking them. It saves me hours of work and after doing many machines is the best way I have found to do so.

Hey Marc, it's really neat to see you at work on another great, classic Coke machine. I'm glad you were able to get those screw pegs off of the bottom of it. If ANYBODY can do it, YOU CAN!!!! Thank you again for your update post the other day, to me. Another great tutorial video, Marc!!!! Thank you again, sir. Take care. Tom
Thanks Tom! Got some good stuff coming!😀
@@sodatimerestorations, Great!!!! I can't wait to see the new videos, Marc. Take care, sir. See ya!!!!
These locks are easy to pick ! i use a Swiss Army Knive and use the saw blade. put it in the lock and wiggle it a bit and you can get it open without drilling.
This lock had damage in key housing ! Had to replace anyway! But will remember that !😃
@@sodatimerestorations Yes try it next time ! I also use it on old candy machines, pinball machines and jukeboxes
You can actually get a replacement key if you look at the number on the lock that’s what I did
Lock mech had a screwdriver that messed up the slot! Drilling out not my favorite thing but no choice on that one!
😊
Where can i get one of those vendo 110s?
The one in background on video series is available!
Nice 110 needs compressor and restoration!
@@sodatimerestorations question is though how much? I know where i can get a replacement compressor
@@sodatimerestorations if it is for sale id be highly interested in it as i have another one but theres sadly no mechanics to it as it was gutted to be used mainly as a fridge (got an interesting idea for that ones casing though)
Email to Sodatime95@sbcglobal.net
And will get you some info on Vendo 110
@@sodatimerestorations thank you will email shortly
