@CV_CA I was about to ask about this, had the same problem with teamviewer and was looking for another option, are there any that you suggest that are truly free? I use design software on PC in house but run projects on CNC in shed, sometimes I need to make quick change and have to run back and forwards.
Great video! For an MSP, having a reliable setup is vital, including strong security measures, efficient backup and disaster recovery strategies, awesome remote monitoring software, and Thirdlane Multi Tenant PBX to ensure uninterrupted communication.
teamviewer sucks so bad now, took me ages to setup for my mum/dad/bro/my partner cos I'm the only guy in the family that knows abit about IT and they require assistance all the time, and them bam! I'm suspected for commercial use, then I my session randomly gets cut off, sometimes forbid me to reconnect , then asking me to give all my information to them to 'reactivate my licence'. fudge that. So I went on to chrome remote desktop, and I just set it up within 2 mins.. and it's working flawlessly.
Exact same thing happened to me. I never used Teamviewer for profit and followed all of their terms, and yet they accused me of violating their TOS. Only thing I can think of is, I had 9 computers at my residence and used them for various purposes and once a month, I would do updates and maintenance on them remotely. That might be where they assumed I was running a business or similar.
Agreed. Teamviewer monitors your activity and will cut you off for ANYTHING that looks even slightly important. They are greedy and very expensive for the paid versions.
Rustdesk is missing from this list (probably the most important especially because is open source); others are Chrome Remote Desktop, Quick Assist from Microsoft
What about RustDesk A free and open source software Has no limitations and extremeley easy and secure And available across many platforms like windows, mac, linux, freebsd, ios, android I always use it it's very lite and beautiful
What I would like to do it similar but different at the same time, What I would like to do is connect myself to my PC at home with my Macbook pro and connect the einstar 3d scanner to my mac which is not compatible with Mac and actually be scanning on my PC and not my Mac
@ yeah I’m using chrome Remote Desktop but unfortunately there is some lag and most of the time the lag is extremely bad! Hopefully the lag will reduce since I just ran a ethernet cable from my office to the parking so I’ll be connecting the mac directly to the same router of my PC so hopefully this will stop the lag 🙏
Unfortunately, the FREE version of AnyDesk drops WiFi connections frequently. Then there is the NEW (version 7 and up), time limit of 60 minutes, forcing you to reconnect every 60 mins.
Super generic and boring, clearly AI made tosh. You can tell it's AI because well one it has a monotonal droll to it but also by the way it trys to pronounce I-O-S as a word lol. Also they're all premium services with of course a link in the description to the free trial with an affiliate like. Super generic content.
Team Viewer is not free, you have a limited number of connections allowed. After that, it disconnects you after a few seconds of connection.
Thank you for sharing the information!
No
TeamViewer surely does not belong in this list.
exactly teamviewer is absolutely trash@@sorh
yes indeed
TeamViewer was recently neutered, which is what brought me here
Hope you find what you are looking for.
Same here!
@@kapitankidlattv9613 Hi, which one did you choose? why?
Hi, which one did you choose? why?
Thanks for helping me out! The Software jungle is getting bigger and bigger^^
Agreed.
2:20 The free version after one hour kicks you out, need to log back. After few hours, kicks you out every few minutes, makes you keep on log back in.
Thank you for your feedback

Please , anyone knows how to give remote acess of just one program from my Desktop? just need get one program , not all data from entire Pc.
Using The Parsec.
Parsec é a melhor r ferramenta. É grátis não têm nenhum limite. E ainda pode conectar vários periféricos.
Obrigado pela sua sugestão!
meu prblema com o Parsec é justamente pq ele não reconhece o teclado do meu tablet

where can I get free black screen option for privacy ?
Rustdesk is missing
I have a question, a person gives me their desktop remote access, the person who gave access also sees my desktop? I hope not because I like privacy.
No, they can't access your desktop.
Not even mentioning Parsec? 😂
It's not really great
i’m using remote desktop by windows it’s work clearly, but i have some issue is the shortcut is not work i’m using ipad and external keyboard
try using other software and see if the problem still there.
@@BeProductiveOfficial yes i already using another software for remote, i hope microsoft will be fixed soon
It is many years since Teamvier stopped being free. Anydesk have started putting up a nagging screen, so it not really free anymore either.
Agreed.
Yes not free

supremo is also a good option.

@@BeProductiveOfficial It was my favorite and I understand getting rid of the free version but $30 a month just isn't worth it.
