I've grown to like this movie on the same level as the original over the years, it's nowhere near as bad as some of the fans accuse it of being. Also fun shit, the extended compensator and extended barreled Desert Eagles could have been the weapon of Choice for Robocop himself but Verhoeven thought the unmodified pistol looked too small in Robocops grip so they went with a heavily modified Beretta 93R. If they attached the same mods to a Deagle, this would have been the end result.
