- Taylor Hawkins and the Coattail Riders is the debut album by the band Taylor Hawkins and the Coattail Riders. It was released in 2006 through Thrive Records. It features 11 songs which were recorded by the band during 2004, before Foo Fighters started recording In Your Honor.
The album art is a homage to James Gang Rides Again, the second album by James Gang, of whom Taylor Hawkins is a big fan (he also wrote a song about the band on the Coattail Riders' second album).

I still love this album.
Saw Taylor and Co. Live at the bowery ballroom to support this album.
Waited all day long, was the first in line, was rocking out inches from taylors drums.
Stole the poster off the window/wall of the venue and had Taylor and the boys sign it.
Greatest day of my life. 4/20 too
this album has a very unique sound. it sounds like classic rock while not being classic rock. taylor was very original.
I love how he messes with time signatures. Reminds me of prog rock.
Heck yeah, totally is prog
This record rips. I remember reading the interview about this record and seeing him behind those red and white striped Tama’s in Modern Drummer 2006. That always sticks out in my mind.
Taylor Hawkins always the best.🤘🤘🤘💜💜💜
Rest in peace Taylor
Bro, this album sounds absolutely amazing! Is this the real mix of the album or did you remix it somehow? I can hear every little sound. Its incredible!
Taylor gives everything he has inside and in the mean time he reminds us here and there of The Beatles !!!!
✌️😇🤟 Taylor era demaciado genial en la batería, es por eso que se fue al cielo, allá debe estar haciendo música con Dios 🥁
Sem dúvida nenhuma ❤❤
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
An amazing album. He's like Ringo and George Harrison all at once.
Ahhh Fab!
Fantastic album!
SOMETHING GOOD AT THE END OF THE LINE 🌈
