The thing about dating is actually so true. My sister met her husband at our cousins wedding, and since my brother in law was a best friend of the groom, they met again, and now their married and I have a nephew :)

Great video, funny and informative! I'm American, but my maternal great great great grandfather was from Denmark. I feel like I inherited those tendencies of not feeling like I'm better than the crowd and not talking to strangers. I would like to visit someday.

There's actually a good reason for the anti-depressants; winter depression, which is a physiological disorder that resembles depression thus anti-depressants are used for it, it's almost epidemic on both Iceland and in Denmark.

Hello. Hopefully I'm not late and your friend did not gave up on his dream. ^^.
Honestly the easiest way to move is to go to uni there. It is free for Europeans and it has I think somewhat slightly less price for people outside of Europe than globally. But highly dependns on the prestige of the uni.
What is super cool is that they have an AP curriculum, what mean you can major in something for 2 years and then you have more possibility to study, or go to work. (Not talking about you can get money for going to school if you have a job where you work for at least 19 hours a week, but this depends on the laws of the country you are from and the law itself is continuously Changing)
Ok the second thing is it can be pretty difficult to find job there. Even for Danes it may be pretty hard.
It's pretty important to know the language very well. It's a language very very similar to English. It's important to learn it because first of all, if a Dane makes the job better than you, they will hire a Dane. If you at least know Danish, you will be hired faster then the guy who don't.
The reason is of course that a Dane will know how things work, the different way about your relations with your boss. And how here you supposed to work less. But do quality work and in time.

Bringing antidepressants into the "happiest country" debate makes no sense. Being the second-largest consumer doesn't mean we actually have more need for it than other countries, only that it's more easily available and cheaper, not to mention the chance of being diagnosed with something that calls for antidepressants being higher. For example, going to the doctor is free, so people go to the doctor if something's wrong, and then they get diagnosed, and then they get treatment. In many countries - even first world countries - people don't just go to the doctor because it's not free. And once we're diagnosed with the need for antidepressants, they're cheap, so we can easily get as many as we need. In many countries, people who need it can't afford it. We can. Another reason to be one of the happiest countries.

Not sure what you're asking? It's certainly not commendable. If you're reasonably healthy and kill yourself because you're going through a rough patch, then I think you're selfish, as you're leaving a lot of people with a lot of grief. If you're terminal and decide to get it over with rather than endure a year of pain, then I'd understand. But family and friends won't shut you out if your child commits suicide. We're an established Christian nation, but I'd wager 90% are Christian only in tradition. If someone takes their own life, people won't assume he/she is possessed, at least not the general public.
