- Quick battery update for my DIY electric skateboard. 18650 is the best choice when it comes to making a battery pack for an EV, those are not that expensive and quite powerful. I will show you how I made my own pack, by (not recommended) 18650 soldering. And also a range test on a small Polish village.

Hi, I know this is an older video, I hope you can respond. I heard you say 15amps was not enough for the esc, do you know how many it needed to pull? I just bought this ESC and I am trying to make a battery. Great video! Thank you for the incredible content!
Great project so far ... is there an future option to use it on shorter tracks in the city without the motor ? Or just with motor ?

I have one question that I need help on. How did you got the curve surface on your enclosure? I noticed the enclosure is flush with the skateboard bottom surface. I want to make my enclosure soon on fusion 360.

Крутая задумка, хорошее исполнение, можно конечно доработать и поставить регулятор скорости с пультом, но так это очень хорошая и простая доработка которая заслуживает внимания.

Siema ;D dopiero jak zobaczyłem rezerwat Dolina Górnej Mierzawy skumałem że jestes z Polski ;d , fajny projekt, czy myślałeś może o zrobieniu pakietu liion z mocniejszych ogniw ? tj. min 15A a najlepiej 20A na cele.. mysle ze duzo lepiej szedłaby decha na 37V skoro tak zostala skonstruowana i depnięcie dużo mocniejsze. Ja chcę zrobić pakiet 10s4p żeby mieć zasięg ok 25km narazie robie rekonesans jakie Cele 18650 użyć, podobno najlepsze są Samsungi 30q albo 25r, ew. Sonacze ale te starsze, nie VTC6 bo te cos sie grzeją, no i podobno wgl. naj naj. są Sanyo.. slyszaleś o nich ? pozdrowienia z Bydgoszczy BTW :) i safe riding!
Ten silnik z tym kontrolerem i tak chyba więcej prądu nie pobierze, ale nie mierzyłem więc pewny nie jestem. Jak na moje umiejętności jeżdżenia na deskorolce czy longboardzie to depnięcie jest wystarczające :D Nie robiłem zbyt dużo researchu jeśli chodzi o 18650 więc niestety za dużo nie pomogę :) Dzięki i wzajemnie!
@@nikodembartnik pewnie masz rację, kontroler jak bierze 15 czy 20A to i tak moc wystarczajaca do tych baterii co masz. :) pozdrowienia i udanych projektów! :)

Nie lutuj akumulatora li-ion takimi blachami bo to bardzo niebezpieczne. Zobacz sobie na moim kanale jak to powinno być zrobione i rozpowszechniaj tą metodę z bezpiecznikami bo to naprawdę świetny wynalazek. Pozdrawiam.
TBH ...unprotected 18650 need fuses in case of a battery going bad.
