This was a great board for me to learn and progress in the park last season. I haven't been much of a park rider in the past, but this board felt pretty comfortable for me to go in there and learn. It's okay around the mountain, but I would say it's more of a quiver board, or if you spend most of your time in the park.
This will be the most honest review on the board. I baught the Rome party mod and loved the bored. It’s super sick and is a good all around bored. I used it in park powder and all terrain. The problem with the board is after not even a full season I hit a xxl jump overshot it a little. The boards tail snapped completely. The customer service would not replace the bored even though it wasn’t really my fault. They just tried to sell me the same bored. I would say the overall bored is super sick and loved the ride. But I’ll never buy a Rome board after the board snapped and I got no customer service for it.
@@austinhowell4407 hopefully you find a board you like, but if you are hitting the xl line, you are going to find that boards just break sometimes on incorrect landings. Its not really the brand or particular board’s fault. Its a wood core. I personally wouldn’t be hitting the xl line on a flat to rocker board anyways.
i've actually heard great things about rome's customer service. I also have a party mod personally and I sent in a waranty request bc the base inlay started separating. and even though I've ridden it hard for 2 seasons and the board is getting to the end of it's life(and the problem was probably caused bc i left it in a very hot place over the summer), they're sending me a new one :D. Blaming the snap on the Rome when you overshot an XXL jump is not really fair. the warranty is for mistakes on Rome's side, not your side.
@@austinhowell4407 you need flex 8 and camber for big jumps. with enough technique you can do anything even on flex 4 rocker, but why make it harder for yourself. just get appropriate board if you going for big jumps.
Thanks for review! I'm 5'11 and weigh around 176 lbs. My boot size is UK10.5 to UK11. Which board size do you recommend (mainly for all mountain experience and so mid jumps in park)? 🙂
Getting back into it after a decade off due to a bad motocross injury. Advanced intermediate before stopping. Trying to decide between camber setups. Looking between SB resort twin, Indoor Survival, and this Party Mod. Last board was horrorscope fk. Want a daily for medium park lines, side hits, some rails, pressable, and decent all mountain performance when with ski buddies. Plz help hahahahaha
Have you tried it in Pow? Looking for a all mountain board that i can use for a week in the Macedonia's backyards but also in the park/slopes my next holiday after.. Greetings
Just picked this one up yesterday! December has never felt so far away 😔

Snapping a board by overshooting a jump is 100% your fault. It sucks, but it happens.
You’re honestly right. But I do feel like the board durability should be able to handle the impact.

Can you compare the flex of this to the regular Huck Knife? Possibly a /10 rating for both?
Whats the best board to butter/hast the softest flex on the rome lineup with a sintered base? Artifact Pro, Agent or Party Mod? Thanks
Hey TJ, is there a big difference between the 153 and the 156 in terms of stability / carving? Thank you! J*
Bumping this...
Thanks for the good review! Any idea why Rome gives the board a great score on all mountain and even a good score on pow?
It's a great all around board. I use mine for everything

@@stefanstaessens9513 If you set it back a bit it will float pretty well

Mannn the graphic in the 2025 is SICK
Rome always has some fun graphics
Just ordered a 153 hopefully I didn’t buy to short
The 153 is very fun as well. I reviewed the 153 last time if you check out the older review for this board on the channel
Great video but please start review womens boards as well
Do you think I should ride and review womens boards?
