Levada das 25 Fontes PR 6 and Levada do Risco PR 6.1, Madeira Island, Portugal

The hiking path PR6 that leads to 25 Fontes and the Risco Waterfall is one of the most popular hiking paths in Madeira. It is located in Rabaçal, a nature reserve in the southwest of the island.
25 Fontes waterfall gets its name due to the many fountains or waterfalls that can find there.
We started this walk in Rabaçal car parking at the ER105 road (formerly ER110).
There is also a service bus, provided by the Municipality of Calheta (3€ one way, 5€ return) that takes visitors down the 2km long paved road to the starting point: The Rabaçal Forestry House.
This movie shows the trail in 75 minutes, but the trail takes about 4-5 hours (about 11 km.).
