This object is the UOS's designated carrier pattern. It's about 1 kilometer in length and was a very reliable spacecraft within the nation. It was also among the most feared, because this ship was ordained with enough power to completely annihilate an entire city within seconds. Just a fleet with a few of them had enough firepower to destroy entire planets within days.
I wouldn't say performance friendly 😅although the original designated carrier for this faction was 2.25km long so compared to that it's a big performance upgrade.
@@piolewus thank you, I do them because it's in an area of it's own, not many others do it and the reason I do it is because as you learn to build big ships, you make them bigger and bigger and eventually you need to find ways to optimize and make those ships a reality. something of a 30km size was impossible for me a few years ago, but I found a way to get around. People call my actions stupid because "The engine wasn't built for this" but that's what makes it fun for me it's the challenge it gives. every other problem in space engineers deal with problems inside the actual game that can be fixed with coding or modding. Except in this case, it's the actual engine and framework of the game engine I have to go against I can't code or change it or anything so it's like facing against a challenge that most people consider impossible so it causes me to look for alternatives and troubleshoot when I'm given an impregnable obstacle, and somehow, I have and those alternatives are how I get past such an obstacle because it gives the same outcome.
This is some serious firepower you have here my friend.

ah yes, the 1km ship (the performance friendly variant)

@@only1tiberious the scale of your ships is amazing, you kinda inspired me to start building my own wrecked 5 km colony ship space hulk
