The only basis of your cynicism would be a track record of Mr Kenny's eloquence in oratory and/or where the contents of the apology did not commit to action. I believe the apology was eloquent and has committed action. To link to either a papal election (an organisation which Mr Kenny has had strong views with regard to their role and behaviour in Ireland) and Croke Park is disingenuous and rather insulting for the recipients of the apology.
