Wigan getting Bevan was such great business. Bevan was playing for the Eels second team. This was after he played a season with the Eels on the wing and showed his peace and talent. He wanted to be play fullback and the Eels said no and moved him to the second team. Wigan signed him when he was still raw and good. Now at Wigan is has grown an become a superstar of the SL. He would never had become this in the NRL. Bevan loyalty to Wigan also comes to the four. Wigan help him out and really takes care of him. To think he will be at Wigan for the next 3 years. Could actually see him finishing his playing days at Wigan.
Id imagine NRL clubs are already planning to make an offer for him next year with a view of getting him in 2026. Hes perhaps the best Aussie to ever play in Super League and is now at his peak. Id be amazed if Wigan can keep hold of him for another 3 years.
@@johnmelling9950 before he sign for Wigan to extend his deal NRL clubs did come in for him, He turn them down to resign for Wigan. Bevan understands that he is a star in the SL him and Wigan are getting attention from the NRL. He has no need to leave.
@@2CanVanDam-w7t 1 game during preseason doesn’t really show the skill for each competition, But you can base it on however you like. All I know is SL is a retirement league for Discarded NRL players and they all tend to standout when they’re there. No former SL player has won a Dally M but multiple Ex-NRL players have taken the Prestigious Man of Steel award 😂

I remember when Ellery Hanley came to Wigan in 85 with the x factor , Bevan has that same x factor.
