wow what a trip those trucks that were painted up.as old.navy displays are still coming out of the woodwork all these years later. cool. (saw passenger door in tnumbnail)
4:43 your upper control arm bolts are backwards. The T-bolts that are used to align the control arm. The T bolt goes on the bottom with the nut on top.
What steering column did you use can you send me Your parts list of the steering column and the bracket you used I’m in the process of building mine and I like how yours looks

Really? They were like that when I bought it so I just left it, alignment shop never said anything either. I’ll look into it thank you!
@@TheSalvagersGarage no problem. Great build! Subscribed!
@@rctrooper1 thank you for the support!! Wish I could upload more frequently but who would have known these parts get expensive!
How of many those old navy trucks are left . I picked up a front and rear bumper and a front grill from one of them pretty cool
Not sure exactly I am pretty sure it is under 1000
Why? Are navy trucks rare? I have one if they are…
The 47-54 Chevy trucks that were in the old navy stores are rare. Not trucks with the navy color

So sorry for the late response it never notifies me on comments, I used a speed way 32” tilt column with column shift.
Did you recess your radiator into the radiator support?
No I did not personally do it but it is an aftermarket radiator so it is possible that it is recessed back a bit further.
I did put 1” spacers under the support though to raise the front clip
What 4 link you using?
Not exactly sure, it came with the truck in boxes. I think it’s just some random universal triangulated 4 link
Your upper a arm bolts are on backwards
It is a stud on both side so there is a nut on both the front and rear.
Just realized what you were saying, definitely going to flip that
