      Northern Scavenger What a great trip so far, hope you get a chance to do something again this year...we’ll be watching that’s for sure! We should be out in La Verendrye park as I write this, but so far it’s still closed...fingers crossed 😊

    That was a refreshing episode, less dramatic in terms of buskwacking your way throught an insane portage, I found myself laughing and smiling many times tonight , enjoying the fishing almost as much as you guys , amazing ! Bravo to the Chef for his imaginative meals and dessert 🍻

    I was looking forward to this episode release. It truly was epic. You really earned the views, good fishing, great camping, and nice food. Props to Chris for holding down the kitchen. Great final days of the quest. Amazing river -- would love to paddle it.

    I've really enjoyed your adventure. I think you guys found your groove somewhere around Day 6/7. I applaud you for your strength to push forward. I've done some serious backpacking before and love going as remote as possible away from all persons. Did you guys see anyone other than the pilot of the chopper?

    This is the most MacGyver-esque episode yet! I loved the raft, and the guitar playing and cooking while on the raft, and also the shots from between the canoes.

    I worked as a jack-ess, of sorts, (gal) of all trades at remote fly fishing camps on the Maine/Canada border many years ago. Your story is incredible and brings back memories of those great times n my life. Your filming is amazing, and I just love all the music you have put behind each of you clips. When was this trip? How long did it take you to prepare? And, THANK YOU for sharing!

    Really great to see some fly fishing. I am trying to learn, it is so satisfying even if I only managed to catch trees, the occasional bush and once my own shirt: it's good to know that fish are a possibility. This whole trip has been a treat. thanks for taking the time to film it. All the best

    Congrats on the PBs. A couple of questions:
    What weight fly rods did y'all take with you?
    What was the base you used for your chowders? Dehydrated mixes? Homemade, off the shelf, etc?
    Also, it was fun to see y'all yucking it up in the canoes when they were rafted up. You can get away with a lot when the boats are more stable.

    So the mouse pattern is more or less a muddler minnow, but fished dry and with a tail? Nothing like catching on your own flies though eh? Never got over 1 1/2 lbs were we fish though.
    And Noah, looks like, from the angle I saw, your using a bit too much arm, and not enough rod. Have faith in the rod, if your line matches the rod.
    Pretty amazing shit though boys. I'm glad for you that you booked time to enjoy.
