- I bought a FMF Powercore 4 exhaust and in this video, I install it.
It was all pretty straight forward. I would recommend doing it if you want to save some bucks on installation.
After having it for a month now, there is no way I would go back to stock. It sounds better, is much lighter, looks nicer and seems to give the DRZ a bit more response.
I have seen a tiny bit of leakage at the connection to the header (it has a bit of a black mark), so you probably should put something in there to seal it 100%. It doesn't bother me.
Feel free to leave any in the comments and I'll try to answer them.

Thanks for putting this on here, I'm putting my FMF on now , wasn't sure how the spacer went, looking at your video it all makes easy sense. You sure helped me out with this one. Love DRZ's there great , I've been riding for 50 years now and the DRZ are sliding fools . " If you ain't sliding you ain't riding " >
good to see someone watched it :)
Yea maybe my stock sm is just really quiet man. Cheers anyway for the quick response love ur vids. And the amount of my friends that get 3 month licence losses and 30 day impounds is crazy, all because of wheelies haha
Thanks a lot! Got this for Christmas. Helped me install
excellent!
So after ages, it has started leaking at the join. I'm going to try some high temperature silicon to sort it.
Did you re-jet the carbie and open the airbox? How did you find the torque difference with the pipe?
That toolbox is sweet
cheers mate :)
Thanks for your video, from Russia with love)
no problem :)
no problem :)
Beautifoul SOUND i must have it !!! I have DRZ 400S . I would bay FMF POWERCORE 4 all complet with Power Bomb . Nice bike ;)
it seems the S needs the header pipe but the E doesn't gain anything from it. good choice!
DAT SOUND!! And nice wheelie!
***** I'm pretty sure it has matured like a fine wine over time. :)
I like the look of ya toolbox , very cool.
MX Tex 🚲 Bunnings special. $400 :D
Stock with baffle out sounds just as good 😆 not wasting my money on just the weight difference that's basically all Your paying for in this case with the fmf brand
Was that with the baffle in
Damn I wish my stock exhaust sounded like that. The s and sm models sound gross stock
did you have to rejet it? because you changed the pipe
+Lucas Castro I read that a lot of people do. I didn't and it ran perfect.
Where can I get those mirrors
They are blind spot mirrors that you usually stick to a car mirror. I drilled 2 small holes in them and zip-tied them on. Double-check the mirror law in your state; QLD only required a mirror on each side; other states have size requirements.
do you have any baffles in it because i find mine is so load
Eamon Murphy compared to stock it is loud. The mic didn't really capture how loud it is.

do u use a heat shield at all?
Eamon Murphy only the stock heat shielding under the white plastic.
thought it wood have the power bomb on there
+Samuel Lamont Apparently it makes fk all difference to a E pipe. :-/
ok wounder if it did mate
Hey! how has the seal held up since you didn't use any silicone?
it leaked after a month. I ripped it apart and used some standard exhaust sealant. no leaks since then!
Roger that. I just installed this pipe on my 2015 drz400sm. just did a quick rider back and forth down the street and the amount of popping on decal was surprising. Have you have popping issues before the exhaust leak became apparent? AAAAAnd, have there been popping issues since you sealed it properly?
Mind you - has not been rejected nor 3x3 mod.
+_Bubba_Fett mine only does when it's cold or riding really hard. 98ron fuel does it too. it seems my drz rathers 95.
