I was in Katherine a couple of weeks after you the hot springs was packed every day but it was a nice walk down to the lower river crossing all the best Ron
Fantastic episode, will have to do the farmstay, gorge and hot springs next time we are in Katherine. Daughter lives in Alice n reckons Territory day actually lasts for about 3 days and is totally nuts especially given she was born in WA and there for 8 yrs then spent the next 12 in QLD
Hi guys...some awsome videos of Katherine and surrounds. Luvin them and following you guys on your trip... better than being stuck here in Perth with the cold weather. Fireworks was a bonus ay 👍
Clothes Line, i never pealed back the plastic coating of the wire and mine came of as well, remove the plastic coating of first before putting in the swag, cheers
Hi Tiff, I’ve been using my all smalls for a couple of years & love them ( have a few ) I usually just hang underwear & socks, tea towels ect. Have one hanging on my washing line at home, much easier than pegging all the small stuff. We have one hanging on the shower rail in the van to dry our smalls while traveling & yep anywhere we can put it once set up to dry bathers and stuff😃
Great vid, will put Catherine on the list. I know wat you mean about fireworks, when I moved to NZ I used to buy the biggest box of fireworks and just had a blast.. pun intended. Thnx
Can remember taking our kids to Mindil beach on territory night! Fireworks were coming at you from all directions! They still talk about it! Was like a war zone
Presumably you'll be heading north towards Kakadu, hang a righty at Pine Creek and make your way to Cooinda, must do in Kakadu is the Yellow Water Cruise, sunset or sunrise 2hr. So good
The smile on yours and Chloe face, driving into town. Countdown timer on the laptop. Dunno who was the bigger kid😂. Edith falls, beautiful place. Yes, you have to go back and do the top pools. They are magnificent. Did you go to the post office in Katherine? See the flood level marker. The bridge in town where the water is some 15-20 feet below. Then imagine it was 2-3 metres above the bridge. That's a lot of water. The carpark you were parked in was under water. Great episode, guys... Cheers, Mark...
When I saw the chooks, I immediately thought they were yours! Imagine taking your own pair of chooks on tour with you? That would be cool, but perhaps hard to find enough places to stay. Although if you gave the owners some eggs they might let you stay! I'm old enough to remember fireworks night. It was always a great day and night. But the do gooders put the kybewash on it by telling us that heaps of people lost their hands or got burns from the fireworks. I think there was more to it than just that. Obviously the croc trap doesn't work very well cos of the crocs hanging around it! What self respecting fish would hang around there with those crocs hanging there looking for a free feed.
I’m not that keen on my all smalls either and I bought a heap of them … I do only hang every second one. Also how do you attach you dashboard buddy as you have a carport cover on the dash?
Dude I am worried about how close your kids get to the water...crocs can hide in very shallow water and when they move they move fast, even across land. And there must be a problem croc there as your drone footage showed a trap set by the local Rangers. Watch how quick they can move ua-cam.com/video/0cC7O0ghSdg/v-deo.html Anyway mate I am sure you already know this, and I am overreacting...sorry.
Appreciate the concern, we were croc wise. Left a good reaction gap around the edge of any body of water we couldn’t see the bottom of, and spent plenty of time explaining to Chloe why it was important 👍🏼
Isn't amazing... $35 a day to bring your own $150,000 set up. Just stayed in Phuket for $51 a day with Buffet Breakfast for 2, 3 huge pools, a gym, swim up bar, Air Con rooms, own balcony, bathroom etc... It's so weird to compare
Haha yeah that is weird to compare! Definitely don’t need a 150k setup to travel in Aus. And you can generally drink the water without getting Typhoid 😂
No lady boys in the 150k set up tho... nor a lifetime of regret after the one drunk night out in a phuket club and realising it wasnt a clutch bag on her...
When Cam talking about fireworks, this cheeky 5yr old boy grin came over his face. And cant blame him, playing with fireworks is FUN
😂 haha you’re not wrong !
Tiff, Cam, Chloe & Brodie thanks for the video 👍👍
Our pleasure!
It blows my mind that setting off fireworks like that is actually legal 😂 what a time to be alive! Looked like so much fun.
Haha me too!! 😂
11:32🤣🤣🤣🤣That cracked me up so much...Tiff was prepared for that answer🤣

Oh bugger! Glad you still enjoyed it, it’s a beautiful spot!
What a great family holiday. One to remember. Crocs, letting off fireworks, hot springs, beautiful scenery and fishing.
Yeah was an awesome trip! Still buzzing off it!!

So…imagine if you set all the fireworks off at once!!!!💥💥💥
You gave me a big smile too. Haven’t seen domestic fireworks since I was a child x
😂 haha that would be cool!
Also look at swimming at Edith River on the old Stuart Highway! Lovely spot to stop and have a swim on the way back
It is on wikki! Suprise falls was our favourite campsite before Litchfield opened. Is on the Litchfield 4wd track if open. You won't get a van in

Thank god for the territory!!!
The last bastion of true freedom in this country !!!
Great video guys!
Yeah dry country destroyed by the original land owners FFS
The fire works brings back memories , as a kid fireworks were common on guyforks day , we’d let them off in the street. Great video
I’d have been in my element!! 😂
Cheers mate 👍🏼
Back in the day when people could take responsibility for their actions.
I love the Territory it just feels a little lawless 😂 🎆🎇🧨
Currently chasing you guys North, at Alice Springs tonight then onto Mataranka next few days...

Cheers mate, videos are a little behind but that’s exactly what we did! Sunrise tour was amazing!
@@WildTouring So Glad for you guys, I got some of my own best nature pictures from that area...and saw my first wild Jabiru
Grown men with smiles like leaving a candy shop… there’s always something about legally blowing things up😂😂
😂 haha too right!

Looks like another great time. When you get to the states...Colorado 😊. Come around fourth of July. The fireworks are amazing here!
Would love to! It’s definitely on the bucket list!
Great vid guys loved it 👍🏽 😊
Cheers mate 🍻
Mate, how have you not started using a drill for the stabiliser legs?
I have done, and will do again. Just didn’t pack it this trip!
We were in the UK a few years ago and I couldn’t believe we could just go down and buy fireworks 🤯 I was also a kid in a candy shop 🤣
Haha so cool hey!!
@@WildTouring haha yeah, last night I was trying to work out how we can make it there for territory day 🤣

The canvas dash organiser came with velcro strips sewn into it, so it sticks to the dash mat.
Ah thanks
Is it a navigator gear one or …???
Did not know you could buy fireworks in Australia
that croc trap looks like it has been set off as well
Yeah you might be right!
Fireworks at a butcher's shop! You could have said you wanted to buy some ‘bangers’ - no, not fireworks, sausages🙄🤣
😂 😂
The annoying thing about being a Patreon is that when saturdays ep comes around I’ve already seen it. It’s like watching re-runs of MASH
😂 😂
