Thank you for getting to the point on both videos so quickly - so many videos have such long intros that are wasted time. Very informative and easy to follow. Highly recommended and I've subscribed. Many thanks for your tutorials.
Glad you like them! and thanks for subscribing. I have set myself a goal of reaching 100,000 subscribers by July 2021. I am close to 87,000 right now. Thank you so much!
Thank you for your very clear videos on reading lace patterns. I have learnt a lot. I didn't understand the pattern I was trying to knit in lace, now I have a much better understanding - thanks to you, Suzanne.
Hello Suzanne Bryan, hope you are doing well. First of all I would like to thank you for your lovely videos. Hope to see and learn more from you. I am trying this chart pattern for a hat knitting in rounds. Now it says that the first 2 stitches are "no stitch, Placeholder - No stitch made" and the 3rd stitch is purl. I am very confused here. I dnt know how to start the purl stitch without working the 1st 2 stitches. And also i am not sure where to place holder. Please help.
Great question. Where there are "no stitches" on the chart, ignore those squares and go right to the first square that shows a stitch. You are not skipping anything on your knitting. Those "no stitch" squares on the chart just keep the chart aligned. There are no stitches to work, just act like they are not there. Hope this helps.
Am I tripping or is the lace boarder #1 pattern wrong? Row 6 adds 1 then row 7 also seems to add 1 with 4 decreases and 5 increases for a total of 14 loops on your needle…. But then row 8 shows only 12 loops to work… Am I missing something?
I am looking forward to watching more video from you. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
Thank- you for your clear, succinct explanations.
