▶ This is a cover of the original Arcade Arkanoid "HighScore" Theme. I originally remixed this tune in late 2014 for the outro of the Commodore Arkanoid Theme Video. It came out so good I always wanted to do a standalone video for and here it finally is! The theme also got slightly extended from the original form.

Yeah I know. This is a remix I did back in 2014 for the ending of the Commodore Arkanoid video and I always thought the mix was fantastic so I wanted to give it a separate video. Only after publishing it, I listened to the original after a long time and I was confused to hear it had different notes in the lead. I don't know what the idea was back in 2014 when I made this remix, but I knew I wanted to preserve the original 2014 mix as much as possible. I only changed the sound of hihat. If I had heard the original before publishing however, I would've still gone in and changed a few notes in the lead. It is what it is now and I guess it is an interpretation of the original :D

As I'm not doing this for money, FUN is the absolute essence and reason I'm doing it and besides lots of frustrations and pain, there has been a great deal of fun to work on these remixes and I hope to continue on this journey as far as possible and life will allow me to. I've just downloaded a midi Arkanoid High Score Theme version and I'm thinking of making an accurate version of it. The idea is to keep everything like it is except those few notes that are different - the problem is then what do I do with this version? :D Do I delete this video or keep both versions :S The original theme also had a longer "B" part [I don't know how to call that other part]. It had 2 or maybe 3 repetitions of it - I only go through the "B" part 1 time in this video so If I changed that I'd also have to change the video O.o this is the frustrations and pain part of it LOL

If you would like to update the remix since my message, may be UA-cam allows to re-upload the video? (I don't know). About the others Arkanoid music, they are more jingles, so may be it is possible to do your own medley around them? (just a suggestion)
