I used Race King 2.2 w Black Chili compound on Tour Divide in 2015. I was so damn happy with how they rode and their wear. The front tire lasted the entire race and then a lot of miles. The rear would likely have been good to Antelope Wells, but I opted to change it out in Steamboat for insurance reasons.
I had a pair of Race King WC edition when bikes were 26", they were 2.2" and weighed 460g, set them up tubeless and they were the best tyres I've ridden, although awful on any kind of grass.
Thats the reason I always have some spare ones :D But they are actually made in Germany where I live, so every shop has all variants available all the time. Riding this tire for like 6 years as they are a perfect fit for the stuff I ride and they are just soooo fast and reliable
whats the guy on lower right doing here, did he wander into a podcast sharing expertise in mountain biking stuff by mistake. Maybe he's a garden tool expert and logged into Bonk bros by mistake. Firt time to Bonk bros, goodbye at the 3:04 mark, the only reason on click in the first place is DJ. Jesus.
top guy on the left is thinking and feeling what everybody watching this goes through.
scott's facial expression is the best part about this video
I did a gravel race last weekend and everyone was on Pathfinders. I think Dylan is moving the market.

We need a Race King 2.0
Yes. .and a 2.4
Those exists.
@@mellissanash7517 The 2.0 looks similar but is a very different tyre. And a much slower one.
a 2.0 might need a thicker casing to be durable enough and be net slower for it
@@mellissanash7517 not in the black chili compound they don’t … ;(
I’ve been racing 47mm Pathfinder Pro’s since February. $55 each

Order from Europe Vittoria tires are much cheaper ordering from Bikeinn. I found Conti the 2.0 and 2.2 sizes there in stock.
dude in the upper left screen has the best facial expressions while others are talking
Rekon race will work for what he’s after.
Is there a 28er Race King?
As soon as GravelKing announced the X1, I ordered a set.
I need a DH casing XC tire. Nothing lasts. I have to run 2+ bar pressure for the tires to even have a chance of survival.

Your loss. We love Tyler!
Did you come here for expertise? 😂
Tyler didn’t even say anything around that timestamp lol
@@leoturgenov7440 trying to ascertain what tire he needed, they asked him where he rides, Tyler replies, "outside".
