- Hello there guys today i got an unboxing of the canon powershot sx540 hs camera and i got this to find out if it will be good for making youtube videos and we will find out in this video, i got this from currys for £199 for black friday.

Just record the audio separately and synch it up with the camera audio in your editing program. Then once it’s synced, lock it, delete the camera audio, and BOOM! Great video AND audio.

I liked the review overall. What I didn't like was that he didn't even know what camera he was going to review until he saw the name.. Then when he was looking for a setting he couldn't find, they had to cut.
He knew what he was talking about, however, he hadn't used THAT particular camera.
He also came short of saying it was a simple camera. Said it had a Lot of settings. He got paid for the review, didn't do real research or photos.

Would you use this camera for vlogs
you're video was good for a close look-up of the camera, but I wished you provided more details on the functioning of each button/setting... wasted 11 mins on appearance instead of feeding me knowledge about the camera..
Which mode or setting is good for night recording? Struggling a lot...😐

Theres not really a good mode for that but you can purchase an L-Bracket and a cold shoe mounted LED light to go on your camera
I checked the manual of Canon sx540HS ... it seems that in Movie Mode, we can not control Manually the ISO, Aperture nor shutter speed, everything seems automatic. Is it correct?
You can Plug In a Micro USB Adapter into the Side of the Camera and then Plug In An External Microphone that has a 3.5" Jack Plug Into the Adapter, go Into Settings of the Camera and Turn off the Default Microphone so you are only using the External Microphone.

The Camera does come with a Micro USB Slot - Hi-Speed USB composite connector (Mini-B compatible)
Hell yes its good enough to make UA-cam videos you kidding me?? =) We use the sx60 hs, which is twice the cost of the sx540, and the sx540 out performs the sx60 in video quality my as much as it is more MP (around 20 to 25% BETTER video quality, which is HUGE). The zoom is only 15% less than the sx60... all in all, the 540 is AMAZING and for the price it is RIDICULOUSLY AMAZING

I barely bought mine a few days ago, and unfortunately it doesn't turn on. I charged the battery but that didn't work. I bought the memory card thinking that might be it. Still didn't turn on. So I looked at it's battery compartment and now I'm not sure if the "hook" belongs there. (A small hook sticking out of a small gap) So not sure if I should pull it out or not...

It records until you run out of space. For your use like art videos this camera is perfect.

The camera has plenty of modes such as portrait and sport etc. And provides a great image too, its video footage is clean and its perfect for a budgeted camera for photography or videos

All you have to do is put the sd card into the side of your computer, if it doesnt fit you will need to invest in an adapter that will plug in via usb

You don't need that much. 20.3 is more than enough for UA-cam. the sx60 HS does 16mp, and it's almost enough but not for sure... the 540 is for sure!!

What will you be using the camera for? Videography or photography because if your doing videos then I would say to go for the powershot sx60 hs, this is the one I’m using and mainly because this has a aux jack so you can connect microphone and IOS, for photography the 1300d is good and it will take good video as well, but if your on a budget then the powershot sx60 hs is a good choice because it takes really good photos and videos

Could an attachment lens and flash be addes to this camera
Attachments will block your focus because it slightly blocks youre sensor witch will make youre video's blurry. It already shoots 1080 the rest you can make up on a video editing program and there is also 50mm lens witch is perfect already

Gaba Flo I’ve tried that with 2 cameras and it won’t let me do that. It just gives me the option to watch pictures and videos on the tv. Even with a field monitor

How to you attach a mic?
You can't attach an external mic with this camera, you can only use the built-in mic. Don't worry though, the built-in mic is actually very good as I have this camera.

@@FluentlyFletch The camera has stabilizing built-in and it can record up to 1080p 60fps. For UA-cam it would probably do great.

@@MrGs-vv8gq Battery that comes with it is very good, not sure how long until full discharge. I bought a spare battery from hama, it is a 700mAh which is a lower mAh than the original but it's great so you don't lose shots. Bought it for around £12
