Like the video….the linear move is when you strive and after the front foot heel is down there is no more linear move the head stays still and your start rotating your hip and your hands turn very closely from the back shoulder to get in plane with the pitch,but there is no more linear move forward with your body once you start rotating. The hands stay through the hitting zone and finished up.
Love hearing the thought pattern from high level athletes.... sounds different than the instagram hitting coaches. Everything is individualized, including the language and terms used.
